I loved what I saw of this ep. I thought the way they brought Lex to a place where POWER is his driving need was really creative. Lex hasn't always been the most "stable" person emotionally. His near-death experience, combined with his total inability to save AlternateLana took him to the edge, and this time, he chose to jump. He's ignoring everything Alt.Lana said to him, and instead choosing to never be that vulnerable (i.e. "hurt") again. It's not all about Lana, she's just a factor in the equation... it's all about Lex.
It's a sad but inevitable choice for him. I really liked the image of his mother standing next to him looking melancholy at the end.
KK was lovely as usual.. but I thought she did a real knockout job in that death scene. Just the right balance of subtle and sincere.
