AgentPat said:Okay, everybody put your tapes back in your VCRs (or rewind your TIVOs) and rewatch the scene at the beginning with Clark and Lana at the Christmas tree. After Lana tops the tree off, she steps down, kisses Clark, and then walks to the center of the living room. Clark follows. Lana turns around as Clark catches up. What does she do next? Why, she steps *UP* onto her apple box so the camera can get both heads in frame on the close-ups, of course.
That just CRACKED! ME! UP!!!!!!
When they goof, they really GOOF!!! LMAO!!![]()

One thing I forgot to mention was that I loved the lighting in the library when Lionel was there... it was blue like in Metropolis and I thought that was a nice touch. Made Lionel seem colder than he was.
I love this show! It's so beautifully shot it's like a mini-movie every week!

...but if you're going to relegate the star to the b-story at least have it mean something...triplet said:Craig finally put up my review...Read it here, if you want.

I don't agree with this.. It was meaningful in a sense that good spirit of celebrating something sacred was reviewed/played out in a very decent and amusing way with Santa/Clark Chloe/Santa scenes.. Not to mention bigger picture, parallel of Santa / Lex straying off the good paths in life, however stretchfull it might seem..
Why you and Hulk treat it as just cheesy or/either meaningless beats me, you are smart people..
(I recommend watching Polar Express - that might cure it)
all righty then, you're officially not scrooge(s) now..triplet said:LOL!
You saying I'm a scrooge?![]()
I should clarify my feelings on this:
...I actually didn't have a problem with the story until the Santa and the presents disappeared.
The Incredible Hulk said:I said it only got cheesey at the end with the disappearing gifts. I actually didnt mind that storyline with Clark and Santa up until that point.
I actually really liked the scenes of Clark delivering the gifts, and scarfing the cookies. Even the part where he was talking to/saving Santa on the roof wasnt bad.
