Oooh, look at them all, like they all say "Get out kid, we don't want you here", rather than Tony and Thor admiring the youth, but willing to train him, though Cap dislikes the idiots way of handling things, much like DareDevil of that universe

Kid just wanted to be a good hero

Yes, he certainly is.

What do you guys think of Pichelli?

Like Lafuente, penciling is ok to sit through, nothing admirable

I feel the same though if I had to pick between the two I'd go with Pichelli over Lafuente.
I'm not sure I'd pick one over the other between those two, Sarah draws a better head compared to the body, David makes better looking ears

I guess I am making judgement between the two based on who draws the Spidey model better. In that case, Pichelli is better imo. As artists on the whole, they each have some good and bad points and I prob wouldn't pick one over the other. They're about the same.

I really like this cover. If only Bagley had drawn it.

Yeah. He did do the variant for this issue with the Ultimates.

I wasn't reading USM around this point because I couldn't get into it at this point, from the art not appealing to me anymore to it feeling as though it was stagnating. The golden age for this title was definitely the first 50 or so issues.

Ms Marv..errm, I mean Carol Danvers had a good idea
It inspired the S.H.I.E.L.D training in the USM cartoon

I only just read USM over this past year. I was discouraged for the longest time by all the criticisms about the Ultimate universe in general but a few members on this board talked me into it.

Yeah, I'd say the Carnage arc was where the series started to go downhill. There were still some rather awesome moments after that like the clone saga for example and then once Bagley left...it, well, you know.

Posting the alternate cover of #150 for day 149, since there's only 159 issues in total.
