Alright, but, you have to admit he cried to much. He was about thirteen years old you'd think he'd have grown out of it.

I somewhat agree. I rewatched Memoria recently and I think we were supposed to feel sorry for Lex in the end because his father despised him for all those years because he killed Julian.

However, if you look at it from Lionel's point of view, wouldnt you have some ambivalent feelings towards your son if he had openly admitted to killing his brother.

Lex's line "yeah you might have actually loved me" didnt have much effect on me.

hmm..
maybe it should have - considering Lionel's tough "no loving parenthood" way was the reason Lillian did what she did..
Lionel would not have loved him regardless..

It was a pretty complex "play of events".. :)

Really?
Oh god.. it totally broke my heart for him.

Me too, it was the one time I wanted to cry for Lex and what his father had done to him... :(

it was probably one of the best directed/acted scenes alltogether..

^^^^ Callous beeyatch I am, huh? :D

I dunno. I actually think Lionel does love Lex, alot, he just has an extremely strange method of parenting.

If Lex felt like he wasnt loved by his father, he was certainly loved by his mother and when she died he would have known that.

I dunno I'm over the feel sorry for poor little Lex he had a bad upbringing by his father and he lost his hair.

Get over it and be a better man for it.

i think there is one last little bit of love in Lionel for Lex.

LMAO!!! I knew there was a reason I liked you, Avid. :D

Clark and Lex are diametrically opposed bookends. Clark puts other people's safety and happiness before his own while Lex seeks safety and happiness often at the expense of others. In the end, Clark becomes the beacon of altruistic light and selflessness while Lex sinks to the bottom of an egomaniacal black hole. SV shows us the foundation from which both characters grow and why they choose the paths they do. They are learning tools - a parable for both inspiration and warning, right and wrong, good and evil. As such, I don't shed a tear for Lex. Never have. It's those he hurts, either physically or emotionally, that should be pitied.

Pat, you pitied Aquabro. I thought you said you'd be there torturing him with Lex. :D

Well *that's* a fair trade - for me. You sure you don't want Lois too? It might be a little more... um, even that way? LOL

Hee hee.... I have my moments.

That line there. In a nutshell.

Never have. It's those he hurts, either physically or emotionally, that should be pitied

Each character has come to realise Lex's true nature over time.

Jonathan and Pete seemed to be aware of it from the get go, but gave him the benefit of the doubt for Clark's sake.

Clark learnt in time
Chloe now knows
I guess with Clark knowing, Martha now knows

We only have Lana left, which is the only thing that is keeping him from sinking to the bottom, once she knows it.... we have our infamous Lex Luthor.

B8 and Pat do you need a bucket of water? ;)

I want to know why Lionel experiments on duncan anyway. I know what you're going to say because he's Lionel. But, all the other times he's had a motive. What's his motive? What does he have to gain from this?

I guess you'll have to watch the episode to find out. ;)

Hmm. I thought they wrapped this episode?

Local actor Grabeel appears in network sitcom pilot tonight

All Lucas, all the time?

It might seem like it these days.

Springfield’s Lucas Grabeel, who appeared recently on the televised “Miss Teen USA,” is on TV again tonight in the 7 p.m. pilot episode of Fox’s, “’Til Death,” starring Brad Garrett (“Everybody Loves Raymond”). Grabeel plays a student at the high school where Garrett’s character teaches. No word yet on whether his character might return.

Grabeel, who graduated from Kickapoo High School in 2003, is best known for playing Ryan in Disney Channel’s “High School Musical.” Currently, he’s in London with the cast to promote the movie’s European premiere. His mother Jean Grabeel, health services coordinator for Springfield Public Schools, is traveling with him.

Next up: Grabeel returns to Disney Channel in October as Ethan for the next movie installment of the “Halloweentown” series. In “Return to Halloweentown,” teens from Halloweentown High go to college.

On the horizon? According to one of his managers, Rod Paul, Grabeel flies to Toronto on Monday to perform a guest role for an upcoming episode of the WB’s “Smallville.” He’ll play Lex Luthor as a teenager.

And yes, says Paul: “They’ll shave him bald.”

^^^ I thought they were working on Subterranean at the moment.

Why's he flying to Torronto? He wont get much work done with the Smallville crew there.
