Man, Lex dissed Clark hard at the hospital. Dude wants him completely out of his life and out of Lana's life.
Yeah.. that was harsh. I thought he'd say something a little nicer before he shut the door on him.. like, "thanks for coming by" or, "I'll tell her you stopped by.." But nothing. I guess the honeymoon for their friendship really is over. Remember last week, Lex told Clark we was no longer welcome on his property. I can understand him drawing lines where Lana is concerned. I mean, he knows how long they were involved (off and on), and his relationship with her is still fairly new. I don't think anyone wants their new boy/girlfriend's ex hanging around. But with Lex, I think it's more than just that. He really is cutting Clark entirely out of his life.

Yeah, that was in "Wither" where he told him he wasn't welcomed. It almost seems like we've crossed a line and any chance of them having a friendship is now completely and utterly gone. I personally cite that final scene between them in "Oracle" as that last straw.

Lots of good moments in the show tonight. Dialog was superb, though Hartley isn't good at exposition. Keep that s*** away from him. He no good at-it. LOL.

Crazy lighting effects during the flashback scenes. Damn, they do LOVE to spend money on the atmosphere of the show.

Meteor FOTW...... meh and a big *siiiiiigh*

Lois is moving along in .... gotta say it... leaps and bounds! It's like a phantom restriction on her character was lifted or something....

Oh wait... ;)

I can't wait for supergi....err... Raya.

And OMG.... the \S/?!!!! Color me EXCITED!!!

I DO want more Clark though, goddammit!!!

^ Well Ollie's not in the next ep (I believe) and by the looks of things it's all Clark next week. :)

HAHAHAHA!!! Now THAT's great prose! :D

Thank you! lol I was just trying to put all my emotions into one big bundle of uber-fantastic sentence working.

This was another blah episode. Another krypto freak of the week, another Lois head injury (she's worse than a WWF referee), the show just seems to be spinning it's wheels more than half the season just to fill 22 episodes. Maybe they should change it to 13 episode seasons, that or they just need to let Clark put on the cape and fight real villians, I'm sick of every week another Krypto-freak goes psycho and tries to kill one of the main characters.

^ There hasn't been a single krypto-freak yet this season until now, obviously you meant Lana and not Lois, and obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. :p ;)

You gotta love Clark & Ollie, they're already working as a team. Clark is totally relaxed with him and talks with him freely.. he's becoming a leader.

They definitely gave off Justice League vibes.

Oliver: You know we all make bad choices Clark all we can do is hope to make the right ones in the future right?

Justin Hartley has been the best addition in a semi-regular role since Lois in season 4. He and Clark have the best interactions on the show these days.

I dont know what more you could ask for from an episode. It was mostly focused on the characters as opposed to action, but did a great job integrating a lot of storylines and setting up some others.

- they bring up Lex's prep school issues we've seen in the past
- they bring back the Warrior Angel analogy and basically have it parallel Reckoning
- Clark now knows there were multiple "zoners" that escaped with him including Raya.
- the clark/ollie relationship was furthered
- Clark and Lois investigating together
- Lex basically telling Clark to "get bent"

yeah they used a krypto freak, but at least it was something original, but the freak didnt come about by random exposure, it came about due to Lionel experimenting on the kid, which I thought was a cool twist, and harkens back to the epsiodes involving Emily Dinsmore which will ost likely lead back into the Level 33.1 stuff we're gonna see.

I'm sure the same knuckleheads will be on here screaming "filler" because they didnt see the "S" or hear the Williams music, but I really thought the episode offered a lot more than that.

On another note, even though I think The Incredible Hulk is an amazing poster and person, THE CARDS WON BABY!!!!!

good ep...oh and ksite has caps for a short trailer wit bow... and looks like hes gettin tossed

I thought the "Excelsior Academy" was a bit cheesy. The episode was a "..meh, at least it wasnt as bad as the episode from last season where Chloe was tracking down a serial killer" for me. As usual I loved the dialouge between Lois and Clark. The stuff between Oliver and Lex was good also. Basically all the character interaction was pretty good. Oh and AgentPat, they digitally enhanced the contrast in the flashback scenes (bring out the dark colors and shadows more). I can do that on my computer with my home movies, lol.

Next week's episode looks kick ass.

There was continuity again . . . .

Warrior Angel
Ref to how many times Lana was hurt while dating Clark
Lois' ref to actually having written things

They didnt just let these things die.

The "zoners" name annoyed me, and it was another krypto-freak but still I really enjoyed the ep.

Great show last night. I am still wondering when we will finally see Clark and Lana talking again they have yet to do so this season.

this show was good not for the duncan gets kryptonite injects and kills people, but bc of the in jokes....gotham, boxing glove arrow, "thats just stupid!"...plus young lex was awesome, and get me if im wrong...if Lois is working on the inquisitor doing all these strange but true stories, wouldnt that make her the perfect person to investigate a flying man that can shoot fireballs out of his eyes and bolts of lightning out of his...o wait, wrong hero

This episode was pretty good.

The Good

1. Lois Lane - Again we're seeing an Ace Reporter in the making . [I really like how they showed Lois Humanity side [When she decide not to write the story about duncan] [this is more proof that seperate's Lois from Chloe] Chloe don't seem to care about that [prefect example Season 3 "Truth"].

2. Clark Kent - Another good clark episode [I'm serious, The Whole clark being alone this season is the best story arc smallville has come up with so far.] Clark is really shaping up both in his Character and in his way at looking at The World [from his own point of view.] Into SUPERMAN . I'm so happy to finally see this.

3. Lois & Clark investigative reporters- I love the forshadowing [I like How Lois mention she doesn't share Bylines [That right out of STAS] And Clark disappearing act and What Lois says to him. Oh Boy did I loved seeing LANE & KENT The Future Ace reporting Team of The Daily Planet working hard together to slove the mystery. The Forshadowing was Excellent .

4. Gotham City - Just The Fact that it was finally mention brought a big smlie to my face.

5. Lex Luthor - Another good Lex Luthor centered episode

6. Oliver Queen - Each Week JH is getting better and better .

7. Less Chloe

8. Less Lana

9. Clark learning about the others who escaped The Phantom Zone

10. Trailer for Fallout [A Mythology episode]

The Bad

The Hinting of Chloe & Oliver

No, actually they talked in Sneeze when Clark was looking for Lex at the mansion.

Don't you remember the whole "You can't keep your secrets if it'll help Lex" convo...

You think that was foreshadowing that Chloe and Oliver dating... I think you're reading too much into it.

She just thought he was hot.

I thought it was funny because it made clark uncomfortable.
