what if it was a tragic death like for refusing to give up clarks secret....

id prefer a death totally out of the blue, like a car accident.

or maybe to spurn lois into her career. Like maybe chloe discovers a huge evil conspiracy by luthorcorp, so lex has her killed. Lois than makes it her mission to avenge chloe.

I don't think they'll kill Chloe, ever.

Al & Miles said in some DVD commentary that Allison delivers expository dialogue better than anyone and just who is it that seems to be delivering most recently? Chloe.....

She's a lot of fun as a character and now she's getting a recurring character as a boyfriend.

I doubt death in the cards for her.

Personally I think this new trend in TV of killing off characters which has become more frequent is stupid but for Sullivan I'll make an exception

I agree that Allison is a wonderful actress. She's done wonders with what could have ended up an insignificant third-tier character. That said, and I can't believe I'm saying this.. I think that at this point in series, they need to de-emphasize Chloe's presence and dominance in the show. Damn, she almost overshadows Clark in her Can-Do ways. I want them to fix Lana and Clark's relationship, whether it's just as dear friends or otherwise.. and I want them to start making Lois a lot more likable, mature, and goal-oriented.

That's all. I ask for so little. :D

You make a good point and I agree, but still... Allison delivers expository dialogue better than just about anyone.

Maybe she should go back to being Clark's personal search engine and let him do the heroics. That's his job.

not sure how wonderful of an actress "The Big Mack" really is, she's Ok on Smallville but I'm not sure she'll ever do much outside of Smallville. Everyone else in the cast seems to be getting bites from movie studios, except her.

I'm not sure Smallville would kill off a second main cast member 2 seasons in a row. I agree it'd be shocking and would probably spurn Lois into action, but it doesn't feel like Smallville's style to continually kill off their cast. I agree with Serene, they just need to downgrade Chloe. Let her have her relationship with Oliver Queen off the show. It they want to spin off Oliver Queen's character into his own series, let them take Chloe too. Clark doesn't need to rely so heavily on her as he does now. He's smart all on his own.

it doesnt need to be done immediately...assume Lois stays a coffee maker the next 2 (hopefully 3) seasons. then chloe ups and disappears in the last episode. and Lois goes: "I know Lex had something to do with it and I'm going to find her." and perry chimes in "and when you, we'll publish the story."

Chloe's gonna be with Jimmy Olsen, not Oliver Queen.

After rewatching some Season 5 episodes recently, I think that this is all Chloe was really doing. She was Clark's search engine. Alot of the time it was Clark coming up with the idea of what to do and she would verbalise it with her exposition. Which seemingly made it look like Chloe was the one with the smarts.

There are also alot of times where Chloe just verbalises what it is Clark is already thinking. eg. Saving first, thinking about who you saved later.

I believe that the SuperChloe isnt as super as is sometimes made out.

Many people just made more of a deal about her role than was really the case.

The more Chloe in the show = one happy B8. :)

You really want Lois around that much longer?

Not that I dont appreciate the eye candy, but I think it's time she moved on.

Ooops!

Alrighty, then they can just kill her off. :p

You're right, I think.

UPDATED 8/14/06: There are some immigrants being exploited at a farm that neighbors the Kent Farm. A teenage boy escapes and is rescued by Clark.
- Clark investigates the farm and finds many of the immigrants are being used there as slaves.
- Lionel and a doctor have a chat about a mysterious patient's condition.
