Which characterizations, looks, story arcs, etc. do you prefer be portrayed by Hollywood in general, 616 or Ultimate?

616 !!! Modern gives to much wiggle room for studios to keep him out of his "costume" for a majority of the movie. much like they tried to do for the X movies

616.

Especially for Deadpool, Ultimate Deadpool is just another generic assassin.

616 with slight Ultimate influences.

What he said. I'm usually a traditionalist but there's no denying the the Ultimateverse did do some things better with regard to moving forward to movie adaptions. Case in point, Cap's WWII look. Much better in the Ultimates, IMO.

616 with slight ultimate reference. Also who said heroes reborn?

Really, it depends on the character.

Spider-Man I can live with his stuff being more Ultimate-based.

Deadpool better bloody be 616, because I don't want to see that "generic mutie hater" bullcrap again. Reading through those issues were bad enough.

Captain America, I like some of the ideas in Ultimate (a lot of parts of it were what I'd imagine would be like for a man from the 40s to wake up in the 00s), but some others were a little...off (the "France" comment espicially--it just doesn't make sense that a man who probably fought with the French during WWII would consider the people inheriently prone to surrender); so, a mix of both would probably work best.

And so on and so forth.

I grew up reading 616. That's what I want to see onscreen.

616.

Although Sam Jackson is a complete badass, I don't mind him as Nick Fury.

I'm gonna spit my dummy out and say that I want my Steranko-esque Fury fix though;

and I'm gonna sulk until I get it. :csad:
