Agree to disagree!.... It's fair enough that you have your opinion, I just can't see it, and I'm trying!..... about DavyJones in pirates... His octobus arms on the face are CG... But I'm fairly surden that his eyes and parts of the face are REAL, just make-up.

Boy that crane scene is something. It's almost unbelievable the way it just tears into the skyscraper like nothing. Spidey's swinging looks wonderful, although slightly weightless at one point for a brief second. But I'm not one to harp on CGI. And how about the way the music cuts out while he evades those pieces of debris, and all you hear are the sounds he does. The end of that scene is amazing.

Also, anyone else notice the way they show Spidey crawling along the ceiling at the VERY beginning of the Subway scene? He looks just like an actual spider, how cool was that.

Nope, they weren't. It's been well documented that Davy Jones' eyes in the film were 100% CG. Check out the DVD special features. I was stunned to learn that as well when I first read it but it's true. That's how great the CG is on Davy Jones...And, there's no makeup also...

I haven't watched any of the clips EXCEPT for the Pete VS. Harry fight clip (because, as I said before, I thought I'd already seen everything there is to see. I was wrong!)

But dear God!!! Do they really show off the entire CRANE-SEQUENCE in this clip!!!!???? How s-t-u-p-i-d is that!!! I wont see it... but would you care to elaborate on the clip though.... Just what happens? and does it really look so fake??? in the small glimpses from the trailer and stuff it looks so incredible!!! It's the first time I've looked at spider-man as a real human beeing doing those incredible things on screen!

Yeah, they totally show most of the sequence. And Spider-Man does a great manuever in that sequence....

Once again, Bryce beats Kirsten in the acting department and in this particular category, it's the damsel in distress department of acting. Plus, she's wearing a hotter outfit.

Plus - they tell them how to act in each of the movies, so it's not like MJ was the way she was because of Kirsten - it's because of how the character was written.

well i guess that's your opinion - never got why so many people on here hated on her. oh well, you may not find her attractive or hot, but she is far from ugly. and random pics of her that paparazzi take or pictures taken while she is talking/eating dont make her ugly, cause 99% of other actresses that are followed as much as she is - have just as bad (if not worse) pics.

it doesn't look fake. there is alot of intense parts of when the crane goes through the window and breaks everything. and Spidey is looking awesome when he goes and jumps off a peice of the building to save gwen. and the web-swinging is looking amazing as well!!!. trust me Naite, your going to love this scene.

I'm actually being sarcastic. Kirsten fine. She looks really, really good in this film, from stills and such. She's actually really brilliant in Marie Antoinette, one of her best acting performances in her character.

I'm just ragging on her for kicks...although, she did look a tad on the rough side in Spider-Man 2.

There's plenty of new ones, but there's definitely one shot that ALWAYS looks off to me. It's when he's extending one arm while his legs are both bent outward. I'm trying to find a picture to show it, but it always seems like he's moving weightlessly upward.

They may be similar in the angles and in terms of the camera manuevers through the skyscrapers in some spots but they are completely new shots.

There are several. Some of the swings when he's going to meet Ock at the clock tower, The shot of Spidey swinging away from the bank fight (Remember the wallpaper of Spidey swinging with his legs spread?) And a close-up of Spidey (possibly when he's swinging after taking the pics of MJ at the planetarium).

But let's be clear- despite re-using these shots, the crane scene looks great; as do all the action scenes.
