any ideas? a disguise perhaps? return of the glasses?

seems like clark will look for secret identity like new producers mentioned

also tittle sounds clark centrik episode

we already have oliver centric(toxic= his background and connection with tess)

DB centrik(prey=with him blacking out and murders)

this one should be about clark

I wouldn't get my hopes up about the diguise thing just yet. Smallville has fooled us before with titles.

I think this may just be what it sounds like, Clark coming to the decision he needs to seperate Clark from his protector persona.

yes but then almiles werer in control

so far seseaon 8's spoliers suggest new producers are doing much better than them so far

Sounds good...

Maybe Clark needs to identify himself as a hero, Oliver needs to identify if he should be a hero, Lois identifies herself as becoming the DP best reporter, Chloe identifies as the head of the Isis foundations for meteor freaks,

or this.... with the next episode called Crisis

of course, I am not hold out hope... lol

it seems a bit early for clark figuring out a disguise already. it's only the 7th episode of the season.

too late, the already had one called Crisis in Season 3. Remember with the phone call from the future of Lana getting shot by Adam Knight?

a crisis indeed.

This feels like the right time for clark to establish him being nervous and overwhelmed by his new job leading to clumsiness around the office. I don't think Lois would notice anything beyond his 'new guy' nerves but other staff would start to be under the illusion.

You seem to forget PS3 have been in the show for years and are responsible for some storylines and dialogues of episodes hated by many fans. They're keeping the stupid triangles and angst for S8, and said they're basically following AlMiles plan for the most part, so there you go.... we are just lucky this could be the last season, they have no choice but to move Clark closer to his Superman destiny.

Oh no, please, no clumsy Clark, just a "normal guy" like in Superman:TAS. I think he's going to start considering a new identity, lets hope is that and not Oliver's identity crisis!

If the show pains you so much, why do you watch it.

You forget, they have been writing the show since the beginning (or many of them had) they were still under the rule of the producers, namely Al and Miles. Now that they are gone, they are free to move in a direction they want to, and of course they are not going to bash the previous producers, since that is unprofessional, and speak well of their story direction.

They still seem to be moving in a direction that will please both the CW tweensters and the comic fans. I'm excited to say the least.

Smallville seems to take its notes from the movies so thats where I was going. I preferred Cain's take on Clark in the Daily Planet

Actually Smallville takes most of its stuff fromt he Golden/Silver age comic books, which is where they got the idea for Lex in Smallville, and Clark meeting Lois and many other characters before he does in the modern continuity.

As far as the identity, I see this universe's Clark running in the same manner as Cain. Less bumbling goof and more cool and reserved. That is the direction I think he'll go.

Lois already thinks Clark is kind of nerdy, but I don't know why. What has Clark done to make him look nerdy? I think he seems pretty average.

I wouldn't get hopes up yet. It seems too early on in the season for Clark to be making any kind of forward-moving decisions about any identity changes for himself.

I agree. I'm not going to jump the gun and get excited about it. Let's wait till more spoilers come out.

I think it's the flannel shirts he always wore.

maybe. I never thought flannel was nerdy. just thought it was a hick thing. lol

Yes, do get your hopes up.

UPDATED 8/21/08: Jimmy takes a photo of a red and blue blur, and Clark is determined to keep him from finding out the truth about who has been saving the day.

:D
