finally ***** face has his own thread . i do hope we get a predator 3

Agreed. I hated how the Predator decided to let her tag along. A true Predator would've killed that 1 dimensional b*tch :cmad:

Though making weapons out of the Xenomorph itself was interesting.

It worked in the comic series and the Steve Perry novelization. It wasn't handled so well in the film, actually it was very poorly handled. Along with many other things in that film.

I love the ALIEN Trilogy! My favorite is Alien 3. I know alot of people hate it but I love it, especially the Assembly Cut on the Quad set. I hope that someday David Fincher will make a director's cut. I agree with others that Alien 3 was the perfect way to end the series with Ripley's death and (as far as we know) extermination of the Xenomorphs. Resurrection, aside from a few scenes is really bad. Its like watching a parody. The movie had some interesting ideas, but was executed poorly.

Thing I don't like about the SE for Alien 3 is that the new scenes with the Alien look bad. The human scenes they added were great, but the new shots of the Alien (and unfinished effects) are very distracting.

Predator is definately a Sci-Fi gem, and one of Arnold's best movies. I love it. I liked Predator 2 also. Not great, but a good sequel.

I only wish a Predator 3 would be made as opposed to more AvP movies...I have wanted a Predator 3 for years.

i think they should do a continuation of the series that takes place after 2

As long as Peter Weller returns, which i doubt he would. :csad:

I don't want a Robocop remake...Robocop is perfect as is. You can't do it better.

I wouldn't watch a Robocop remake. Vague sequel I would watch, but not a remake.

That's the way i feel on the subject. Robocop worked because " It was of its time. "

A remake would just be all wrong in to many different ways, and it would be a terrible idea to try and replicate all the things that made the first one work anyway.

The Terminator - Underrated, and my favorite of the series.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day - One of the best sequels ever, and almost as good as the first.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - Absolute crap...I am trying to forget it.

in t3 after i find out sarah conner is dead and nick stahl is edward furlong ,
i almost compltely lost interest

It was Claire Danes utter obnoxiousness that did it for me. God can that woman scream to no end.

Nick Stahl and Claire Danes were horrible.

Arnold played the whole deal like a Marketing Campaign.. ughh that whole movie was just horrible.

To be fair, Robocop is also relevant today in an awful lot of ways, which isn't necessarily a good thing.

T3 just seemed more like a parody than a continuation. The CGI was also so obvious.

A lot of movies about the future seem to have more and more merit today than ever before, really.

The biggest problem I have with T3 is that, like shenhelms said,it just throws out the first 2 films entirely.

All the bulls**t Sarah and John suffered and endured to destroy Cyberdyne and prevent Judgment Day forever...

"Oh yeah...about that...turns out it was inevitable anyway...sorry, but you pretty much suffered for nothing...our bad."

But, if Judgement Day never happens, how is John conceived by a father from a future that never happend?

I am not against T3 in principle, just execution. I would have been fine if it was never made, but I wasn't agaist the idea of a T3.

I love RoboCop. It's the rare movie that delivers exactly what it needs to and leaves you exactly satisfied. As RoboCop turns around, says, "Murphy," and then the credits roll with that pounding, heroic theme; it feels just right.

Which is exactly why I hate Alien 3--does the same thing.

I really like the first two Terminator movies--especially the first one, since I have a weakness for Michael Biehn. I missed him in T2, but then saw one of the newer cuts and all was well.

I like how raw the first Terminator is. Not in terms of gore, per se, but in the level of direct brutality. The first Sarah Connors get their door kicked in and Arnold practically empties an entire clip into their quickly cooling body. Hicks...I mean, Reese bludgeons the T-101 with a pipe right to the head and throws pipe bombs at him. The Terminator itself is crushed to death. The movie has a really solid feel to it, if that makes sense. It's not like T2 (which was great, don't get me wrong), which has more of a fluid feel to it, with the T-1000's stabbings and the nitrogen/lava thing. T1 feels more like an improvised two-person war, whereas T2 comes across more as a soldier (Arnie) versus an assassin (Robert).

Does that make sense? It's a little late, so apologies for any lapses in thought.

I love the Alien duology. Truly, two great films. I mean, the way it ends on a happy note, as Ripley deserved? Instead of taking two great supporting characters and KILLING THEM IN THE OPENING FIVE MINUTES OF A CRAPPY, UNNEEDED THIRD INSTALLMENT THAT MAKES THE SECOND COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT, DOES NOTHING TO EXPAND THE CREATIVE IDEAS, AND MAKES THE MAIN CHARACTER COMPLETELY UNLIKEABLE AND WEAK....we have instead, the perfect bookend. The Nostromo, "Come on, man, the food ain't that bad!", Dallas in the air ducts, Power-loader battle, Bishop, "Eat this..." A great set-up, a perfect conclusion.

Game over, man. Game over.
