You'll get caught up in the, CROSSFIYAH!!!!!

interesting title, cant wait to see what goes down.

LOL Clark and Lois as hosts of a morning talk show...Oliver looking for hookers...Zod trying to find the Blur. That is quite an episode.

Mia Dearden? As in Speedy? I guess they were not kidding when they said they were kicking around the idea of a sidekick for Ollie.

Speedy is a girl?

I just looked her up on wikipedia. She is the second Speedy. Looks like they are influenced by recent comics rather than older ones.

I am guessing it comes down to more chick vs dude in their thinking and boobs win out.

interesting. As for is this mia character is to be that second speedy from the comics, we know dawn o probably forced them to add more females into the show, with her whole kick of wanting the network to be more woman stuff. But sounds like an interesting episode.

Lots of spoilers from Kryptonsite.com

UPDATED 8/25/09: Clark joins Lois on an audition for a for a television show called "Good Morning, Metropolis" on WGBS. Clark is very reluctant to do this, but insists he is only doing it for her.
- At one point Lois brings up the fact that Clark stood her up on their one and only date. (In "Infamous")
- Lois ends up getting the role as host of the show, but under one condition - she is also joined by Clark. The producer says they have chemistry, like "Hepburn and Tracy, Bogie and Bacall, and Regis and Kelly."
A marketing ad featuring Clark and Lois is quickly presented to an already-uneasy Clark.
- The show sends Clark out on a date that is being watched by a producer and Lois in a control room. Lois is speaking to Clark throughout the date on an earphone. She teases Clark about the fact that in his profile, he admits that he "grew up on a farm" will get him nothing but a date with a country mouse or a cougar looking for her next meal.
- Clark's date is with "Catherine," a 24 year old blonde beauty whose appearance leaves Lois a bit on the shocked side. Lois decides she wants to make Clark just as jealous as she is, and is determined to top this date
- Later Lois has a date where Clark is speaking to HER over an earwig. At one point Clark says "The last thing you need is a drink, Lois." (AGAIN with the drunk Lois stuff... sigh.)
- At some point - perhaps as they are getting ready - Clark tells Lois that her date is a lucky man. Lois smiles, glad that she seems to have made him jealous.
- There's a scene between Clark and Chloe where they talk about the release form for the show, but we don't know many details on that.
- There is a scene between Tess and Zod in the mansion. Zod has one of his people posing as a guard in his mansion, and tells him to make Tess reveal who the Blur is, or kill her.
- Oliver's storyline involves him meeting Mia Dearden, and yes, this speedy girl wears lots of red and yellow. She's also a hooker, working for a tattooed pimp named Rick, who doesn't sound like a very pleasant character. At some point Mia takes Ollie for a quick spin in his Lamorghini, at which point he teasingly calls her "Speedy." Later, Oliver reveals the real reason he is there - he knows of her from an earlier encounter, and he wants to be able to help her. It sounds like redeeming Mia may be Oliver's chance to redeem himself.
- Lois and Oliver have a scene at the Ace of Clubs. It appears that Oliver is going to be Lois's arranged date, which could explain the "needing a drink" line from earlier.

^ This sounds like a very funny Lois & Clark episode full of Foreshadowing and comedy.. I can't wait . I still can't believe they choose Mia over Roy for Speedy .

Clois progression? Zod looking for the Blur? Catherine=Cat Grant? Green Arrow meets Speedy? Sounds like a great episode indeed, hope it doesn't disappoint!

Didn't think Catherine would be Cat Grant but who knows.

Why would Lois audition for a "Good Morning" show, doesn't she work at the Planet?

It could very well be .

I think Lois & Clark are undercover to expose this company or prehaps the dating reality show tv .

They are both probably undercover. Also, in other incarnations of the comics, Lois, Clark and several other reporters worked at WGBS.:cwink:

I wonder about Catherine, if this will indeed be Cat Grant.

Woo on Speedy, of course I would have preferred Roy, but I like the idea of him redeeming this girl, and thus himself.

The Lois/Clark stuff sounds like it'll be gold.

This episode does sound interesting and some good lois and clark development hopefully. As for the female speedy i too would have liked if they used one of the male sidekicks/allies of green arrow, but like always it was either dawn o messing with the show, or rights issues.

I guess that could tie into Oliver trying to help out Mia, being one of their ladies.

Going from casting sides it looks like Lois is auditioning for a legit job and Clark get dragged into it because the producer likes there chemistry. There first assignment for the show is to go on blind dates

I wonder about Catherine, if this will indeed be Cat Grant.

Once again from casting sides, Catherine used to be int he Peace Corps and is currently going to university for 2 PHDs(sociology and social justice). I am guessing not

Yea it would be sweet if its cat grant but besides the whole station name i dont see any other connection to the cat grant character. As for whats up with clark/lois at the planet or if they are going to be on tv i wonder whats up with that.

This ep makes me think of the 70's comics when Clark Kent was a news reporter for a t.v. network, they're pulling out all types of comic stuff this season :D

I doubt they would ever do that.

interesting news todays that "Catherine" role for the episode is indeed cat grant.
