also, tom, dude, when the hell are you gonna get yourself a goddamn haircut? at this point in the saga, i think tom needs a more grown up hairstyle to match the more mature nature of the show...

Not until he looks like this

This episode fired on all cylinders man! Lois was amazing, and I was actually sad for her when she was fooled into thinking Clark wasn't the blur at the end. The Wonder Twins storyline was really good, and their scene with the Blur was excellent. The ending was holy crap, both for the kiss and the violent vision. This season is pretty darn good right now, and I hope they keep it up.

i see nothing with tom's hair this season. As clark and as the blur its been styled well. As for that shirtless scene that is apart of pandora, i dont think tom looks out of shape or anything. He seems to be in decent shape for me.

Looking like the wonder twins didnt turn away fans. Matt from Tvguide is reporting that the episode scored 2.7million.

I loved the episode, wish Clark had been a bit more angry with Chloe though maybe they're saving it all up cos Clark does bottle things up at times. I liked Clark's speech at the end and I wonder when those glasses are going to be a full time gig

the whole big brother chloe thing is probably going to be factoring into a later part of the season. Also i am still waiting to hear what the demo numbers are for the 2.7million idol got.

I was a bit annoyed at the speech Chloe gave to the Wonder Twins about "saving a hero even from himself". When has Chloe ever saved Clark from himself? From what I remember, Clark came back home because of Lois...not because of Chloe.

in the past with krypto freaks or kryptonite and all that.

Also here is the official overnight numbers for Idol:
http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/11/1...mallville-hits-season-high-with-viewers/33655
CWSmallville 1.2/4(demo)2.70(millions of viewers)

Meanwhile Smallville fans will delight that Smallville hit a season high in viewers (2.7 million) and matched its season highs with adults 18-34 (1.2/5) and adults 18-49 (1.2/5). Smallville ranked #1 in the hour in men 18-34 (1.3/6) and men 18-49 (1.3/5-tie) and ranked second in adults 18-34. And for those who just can’t stand not knowing, Smallville pulled a 1.0/4 with women 18-34.

that saving from himself was probably just added there for dramatic effect.

Grate episode 2 thumbs up. And I guess we are going to have a lot of deleted scenes from this episode on the DVD collection cause they where planing to go with the whole I'm Saptacus scene in the press conference with the DA I'm going to love to watch that scene :D

Yea i too would have loved to see that scene. Should make for a good deleted scene though. My guess looking back they probably thought just lois standing up for the blur was good enough. Or it was cut to add some more scenes in since it was originally shot for 5th episode but then moved to 8th position. So then they had to make it fit between crossfires/kandor and next week's pandora.

Awesome! From Clark and his glasses, to Lois going to therapy, hell even the Wonder Twins were well done, acting like the Blur is the greatest thing that ever happened to them.

I found that therapy lady really attractive, I don't know why.... maybe the voice.

for a second there, I thought the therapist was working for Tess to get some info out of Lois.

that could be how/why
lois does get kidnaped in pandora?[/spoilers]

Also i and i think someone else last night, could any one do some comparison shot of tom wearing glasses from whisper, that season 6 episode, that season 7 episode, and last night's idol?

So.. its been like a day & I am still without my Clark & Lois glasses scene in gif form..

This is unacceptable I demand to see the forum manager...

:oldrazz:

Please, pretty pretty please.. that scene has potential avatar written all over it :)

Is it possible that she could have also been talking about Oliver since she mentioned a "hero" but not which one specifically. I mean she also hangs around the JL and she recently orchestrated the plan to save Oliver from himself.

"Idol" was a very good episode, one of the best so far, we had the right dose of the WT, though they could've mentioned more about their origins in their dialogues with Chloe, but is just details. Chloe with her "big brother" methods is getting extremely annoying, Clark should've been tougher with her, the producers are making the same mistake they did with Lana, "the end justifying the means" is ok, Chloe is a great heroe (like Lana!)

Clark has the Superman attitude, only flying and the suit are missing, but when that happens, the journey will come to an end, so lets enjoy what is left of it.

Possibly. but more on the lines of Tess threating her if she doesn't give up info, than working for her. Unless its a Daily Planet therapist....

i am sure the whoel chloe thing will probably come to pass more during second half of the season probably invovling waller and all that.

Also i am trying to put up a collage of tom in glasses pictures, can any one get me a screen cap from idol with them on him?

Good episode, but I'm kinda getting tired of the whole "Someone finding out Clark's secret then getting disproven/mind wiped" thing.

yea totally, in the past mindwipes have been used way to much.
