yea its to bad the scene didnt happen. It will likely be on the dvd set, no reason it wouldnt.

if no ones ever seen him as the blur, how do people know he wears the white "S" on his chest?

I should stop visiting TWOP ("well duh!" you all say :p). They keep pointing out loads of problems with the episode and I find myself agreeing with them (not all of them, obviously).

Still, no matter how many little, or big, flaws there were, it doesn't change the fact that I enjoyed the hell out everything else in this episode. From Clark spilling his coffee, to Lois kicking that stack of newspapers across to Clark, there were just so many moments that endeared me toward the characters.

What?! The same morons who thought Lana was a meteor freak who made men fall in love with her, that the FOS Jor-El was really the Eradicator, that Chloe is you know who.... and some still think S9 Clark is Bizarro or the Eradicator, among other ******ed nonsense.

The episode was great, anyone can nitpick apart any episode from even the best shows and find flaws, what matters is being entertained and positive story/character development.

Like I said, I enjoyed the episode overall. And all the crazy theories you talk about there would be the stuff I mentioned as not agreeing with (though I am partial to Lana as meteor freak :cwink: ).

But while some TWoPers, the hardcore haters, take their dislike of the show too far, they're not always without reason, which is why I still visit there, as well as KSite, here and elsewhere.

As for how the citizens or even tess know that he wears black and has the S shield there. A the shield has been plastered around the city for a few months, then secondly after lois saw the blur in person in the fight with metallo. She more then likely wrote a report about it and how the blur's look is.

so i was thinking i really liked that shrink's office set. I wouldnt mind to see it used again in the future(personally redressed as a new metropolis apartment for lois). To get her out of the dam talon, which i dont really see the need of any more now.

One scene I didn't get. When Jayna turned into the ladybug to spy on Chloe, and didn't she at that point in time find out that Clark is the Blur? Than why act surprised when you meant him later in the episode

did anyone else get a Superman feeling when Lois was hanging from the Daily Planet and Clark walked out of the Daily Planet to see her? Just felt like the helicopter scene from S:TM

Great episode. I'm loving this season and was that a cliffhanger and it wasnt a season finale!? Unheard of on Smallville, this is just awesome.

it was a cliffhanger, and I don't think their gonna drop the ball with the follow up (SV has a poor record for 2nd halves of cliffhangers).

on this epi, I really gotta say that I was very happy with the way the Twins were handled. I hate when SV brings in guest heroes, mostly because they are made ******ed(their portrayal. Maxima, Lame, Aquaman, extra lame etc.). The twins were so(they were pretty lame). Had the episode featured them as central to the narrative, I probably would have hated this episode. But thankfully, the twins were more a secondary plotline pushed to the side(with Chloe) in favor of the Lois and Clark/Blur story in the episode.

I hope this is how they handle the 'soapy' cameos from now on. Because it made me happy. I'm really glad those twins were nothing more than a short plot device (especially the girl, who would have been super annoying had they not minimized the use of the twins.)

Yeah it reminded me exactly of the scene in Superman II where Lois jumps into the river at Niagra Falls trying to "out" Clark as Superman and he just runs along the river to help her without changing.

to be fair, given the nature of the Wonder Twins from TV/comic lore, I dont think expectations were very high. That's usually when SV pleasantly surprises you. The show did what it should've done, and went just deep enough into them to get the point across and didnt go into the whole "aliens from another planet" thing.

Now, bring on Marvin, Wendy, and Wonder Dog! ;)

WOW. I enjoyed this ep! Like Hulk points out, expectations weren't very high... mine weren't, for sure. This episode was chock full of great, great Lois & Clark material. Great visual effects (again, let's hear it for the budgeting this year!), and just enough Wonder Twins without overdoing it. I was not disappointed that the V For Vendetta-esque gag didn't make it in, and am jazzed for Pandora (but still am feeling very, very satisfied with this episode). I think I may watch it again before Friday.:up:

Clark really ticks me off. I wished he would have just admitted he was the blur to lois. And again the girl has to take the initiative with him when it comes to physical contact. I guess he's making progress though, it took him 15 years to hook up with Lana, it only took him 5 for Lois.
