91st Annual Academy Awards

She can barely walk in that outfit, lol.

So, let me get this straight. They wanted to shorten the ceremony but they're allowing the speeches to go on longer?

I'm open for it winning Best Original Score too. I had to go back and listen to even remember it, but when I did, it managed to stick after that.

I wonder what the record is for most nomination for an individual at one awards. Cuaron's got 4 today.

The first of hopefully a few Alfonso speeches tonight, lol.

20 films in, the MCU get its first Oscars.

Glad to see Roma win for cinematography. Great work there, especially that beach scene. While not overly showy, there were certainly times I find myself thinking, "wait, how is this being shot right now?"

So far the awards are well deserved. It’s just a shame the awards show themselves are so bland. I will say that The numerous indian awards shows have some really creative skits sometimes and real ricky gervais-type hosts that don’t take things too seriously. Some loosening up would help

The bad skits need to stop. That costume one was painful, almost as bad as the Fey/Pohler/Rudolph bit earlier.

It's the awards equivalent of a butter sandwich. Sure, you can eat it, but you wish there was something else on it.

Serena who? Serena Williams? If so, what does she even have to do with Hollywood?

This might be the most scattershot Oscars ever, no one movie being able to steam roll through all the categories.

I really wish First Man would have won for Sound Editing.
