Hell yeah! First Man won for VFX. Solid throughout. Owes a large debt to Interstellar, with which it shares many techniques and a crew members.

First Man was so horribly shot with all those close ups. This was such a "throw you a bone" win. First Man should've taken both Sound categories but instead they had to rob Infinity War.
