Yes... he voiced his opinion. I obviously disagreed with that opinion. I made up my mind that I don't like him a long time ago. If only you could see him in other threads. His opinion in this thread was foolish. I hate when people say that the immigrants are taking our jobs. Jobs are ALWAYS available just like StorminNorman said. People can find jobs if they look.

If they want to be treated fairly under our law, then shouldnt they be subject to all law like American citizens?

They only want to obey the law, or have it changed, to fit what THEY want...only respecting the law when it fits them.

but thanks to programs like Welfare - American's WONT take those jobs. The fact is that Americans are lazy, however the solution is not illegal immigrants.

If the U.S. catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border... do you know what they do with them? They bring them to a remote town (not that far away from the border) and just drop them there. This encourages the Mexicans to then try again because some could be quite a ways away from home at that point. They will just keep trying. If the U.S. really wanted to cut down then they would actually transport the immigrants back to their homes in the cities they live(d) in. The U.S. also needs to make it easier for immigrants to come to the U.S. legally.

I know I came across as a Republican Puppet when I first started posting on these boards - I didn't like it. I was trying to defend Bush against the overwhelming attacks against him, and I thus I reverted back to my old mind set of "Bush can do no wrong" - at least on these boards. Again, I hated doing that, which is why I have tried to stay away from political discussions the last few months.
