"I guess what I am getting at is, be careful what you wish for in the form of a Snyder cut. If the fundamental building blocks of the film are flawed, chances are a director's cut will be as well."

I'm struggling to see how Matt's comment aged poorly. The main gist of his argument is what I quoted, and that still stands now. The only way his overall point would age poorly is if the Snyder Cut ended up being a universally liked film.

Which isn't likely.
