I actually kinda like description they had for Nightcrawler. Granted, it goes against everything the character stands for and wouldn't make make much sense.

I do think it would be interesting if there was a storyline where devil-worshippers, or something similar, discover Kurt and start to treat him as their savior. They might think that he's a demon or something more and treat him as such.
