Ha! Totally called it! The real Ursula is out there and she's pissed at Regina. Doubt they've done that and that will be the last we see of her. Can't wait to see who they really get to play her. And who did the voice of the statue tonight? Sounded familiar.

The real Ursula at the end!!! I literally gasped because I was not expecting that at all! :wow:

Did that sound to Yvette Nicole Brown to anyone else? I know she was on the season 2 dvd extras in the Good Morning Storybrooke thing as their version of Goldilocks, but they could still keep her around for the real Ursula as well, since not everyone has seen that (I didn't know about it til I just now found it).

I doubt they have any plans for the statue to appear again. Regina served her purpose as Ursula in Ariel's story, she even took her voice!
That statue has no purpose.

I am fine with writers changing things here and there if it is for the better, but I feel like the changes they made to TLM tale didn't make anything better and they strayed even further than Disney did from the source material. Making Ursula into a "Sea Goddess myth" for the humans is fine and dandy but mermaids should at least know the truth about her. Ursula had some interesting backstory that could be explored and that was missed on. And their wasn't any real angst or excitement in making Ariel getting legs so easily. Giving Ursulas iconic moments to Regina and making them so easy wasn't exciting. At least we know the real Ursula exists and I am hoping that isn't how she really looks and was just using the statue to get through to Regina.

Regina might not have been the real Ursula but making her fake it and become Ariels enemy doesn't make things much better. For as big as the fairytale world is suppose to be, the writers are making it very small. Things were more interesting finding out that Regina/Malnificent were best buds and exchanged spells that lead to iconic moments happening. We need more of that.

The writers were cleaver in their little nods to TLM songs in Reginas dialogue with Ariel.

Good god you are just sad and naive. Not gonna bring Ursula back? That's just sad to even try to think. And as if Ursula is just the statue. :whatever:

Just rewound to the opening credits, and Yvette Nicole Brown's name was definitely there. I would actually be really good with that if they brought her back as the real Ursula.

What point are you trying to make? Because nothing you're saying makes any sense. You're just disappointed your poor Regina isn't getting the entire spotlight with the Ursula character sticking you're head in the ground to just ignore the truth. It's pathetic.

Now I can see definitely get behind her as Ursula!

I didn't see any Ursula, I saw a statue! That could've been Rumple messing with Regina cuz he knew about her deal with Ariel! Or Cora, we'll never know!

My god, you're denial is so monumental it might qualify as a modern wonder of the world.

:funny: God, you are a riot. Ursula used magic to make the statue come to life. They wouldn't tease something like that and not follow up on it at some point. Get back to me once you've grown up and had a few more lessons in life and watched more entertainment and learned a thing or two on how a story is told.

Even if that was the real Ursula, the fact is that Regina had Ursula's iconic role in Ariel's story, and even looked more like Disney Ursula than that statue. That's enough for me, I'm happy!!!

Now onto the questions:

1. Ariel spent 28+ without her voice? Is their no magic under the sea?

2. Is Prince Eric trapped in Storybrooke? Or was he in the camp in FTL? Or did he journey to Neverland? He has to be somewhere where he wouldn't have aged.

3. Where will Ursula come into play with Ariel? And with Regina? Easy way to bring her back would be through Vanessa.

I would be totally down for Yvette as Ursula, but can she do strong drama? Only used to seeing her in comedies.

I wouldn't call the performances in this show "strong drama" IMO. Fun, yes, but campy and over the top all around. I think brown would fit right in lol.

Regina said Eric is in Storybrooke. And I think mermaids are immortal, so she's probably been without her voice since, I think. Don't know how Ursula might come back yet, maybe that's part of what will draw her back is something to do with what Regina wants with Ariel right now.

And who's Vanessa? I haven't seen Yvette in anything really dramatic myself, but I've seen her do some of the more dramatic stories on Community and I think she handled them fine.

Vanessa was the identity and human form Ursula used to get Eric into marrying her. Must've missed the line about Eric being in storybrooke.

He he. Called it with "Belle." It was the Smoke Monster (aka the Shadow :oldrazz:)!

Zod-Damnit!!!! I missed tonites episode. I bet you it was all kinda cool with every Disney Fairy Tale character joining with every superhero and anime character to fight off the entire line up of DC and Marvel villains and then they all sang Menken written Elton John songs. Am I close?

In the words of Joss Whedon,"comedy is the hard one".

If you can succeed at doing comedy, you can succeed at doing dramatic acting.

I like Regina, but I'm not about to jump on her fanbase bandwagon and cheer her on blindly. She's a likable villain, something that's so rare. Usually villains are made to be unlikable and immoral bastards who have no redeeming qualities. She's not like that. She's a "real" person with real flaws who just happened to end up on the wrong side of the hero/villain coin. That doesn't make what she does acceptable or forgivable but it does give her depth.

And it's already been said many, many times that rolling the same handful of characters into the same villains is tiresome (and yet you can ignore they don't do this for any of the princesses or heroes?). Ironically the one person throwing the biggest fit over the combining of the villains is the one trying to defend it. Your "gut feeling" is laughbly off about me. I have no connection, subconcious or otherwise over Ursula and I could care less who they chose, except they keep reusing the same stretching credibility trope of "it was Regina all along!" line.

Let me explain it this way: They could have spread out this villain of the week is someone new and other times it was really Regina/Rumple and had them fill in for different roles at times. Instead it was almost every one of the villains is secretly these two and it's become a joke.

Now it's so tired and so cliched it just earns an eye roll from anyone who can correctly "guess" it. Much like your "guessing" how people would react, only your smugness is preventing you from seeing everyone else can easily see it coming a mile away too because they keep on doing it! :yay: This is people who are hoping maybe OUAT will catch a clue and start bringing in new guest villains once in a while. Or maybe they can switch it up and the same person can be a princess or a hero in two places at once. :wow:

I now know not to post an apology, which can be seen right below the post that prompted your response. I apologized for my tone, but in return I get called smug. Nice. Stay classy.
