ABC's Once Upon a Time - Part 4

Yes. There was a fair amount of "wink, wink, nudge, nudge... Say no more" with Mulan and Sleeping Beauty. Still, I'd rather that than giving the Swan/Queen shippers their fantasy. Save that for the inevitable Porn Parody. May I suggest Angelina Castro for Regina? Maybe get Shyla Stylez out of retirement for Emma? :word:

SwanQueen has quite possibly one of the most annoying fanbases that I've ever seen, so I'd love nothing more than to see them NEVER get what they want. :o

But... but... Porn? :word:

We got one a long time ago of those two together so nothing new really.

I don't think they've been allowed anything. This is something they have to play coy to like they do on cartoons. Disney wont let them kill any of their major characters, I doubt they will let them make them gay/bi outright.

Eh i think Disney is allowing this show more liberties... I mean we got a teen mom cinderella, peter pan is getting made into the big bad of the season, a hero-ish captain hook, and a *****ey blue fairy.....

It wouldn't shock me if they actually continue a same sex arc with Mulan...

Hell maybe prince Eric and Philip will run off together too... We all know Eric is just too fabulous to be straight anyway... He dreads being asked about finding a wife, plays a piccolo, gives Ariel a makeover, finally puts moves on a girl but only when he's hypnotized by an evil drag queen. And even does a quick wardrobe change after the drag queen attacks and turns into its jumbo form.... Haha

I don't know...I just doubt that since it has already been stated that they cant kill off certain characters.

I am interested at how all over the place Ariel seems to be. She is suppose to be part of Neverland storyline, but is clearly part of another storyline, plus her flashback scenes. A lot to do in her 6 episodes (hopefully upped to more)

I kind of hope they throw us a curve on that one. By now, the show is well established. It is it's own thing, I think. To up the dramatic stakes maybe a couple of the more iconic characters need to shuffle off to wherever old fairy tale characters go after they die?

Also... Nobody thinks Angelina Castro would be great as Regina in a Porn Parody version? You aren't the posters I thought you all were.

The way I see OUAT Peter Pan is, he's still that fun-loving kid (as we sort of saw tonight), but with magic dying out, he's found a need to get serious and do something about it, and if you get in his way or you refuse to help him, he's gonna **** you up. I like it.

Overall tonights episode was a step up. But Im pretty torn on the Mulan thing...

On one hand Im thrilled they're allowed to gay up a Disney icon.... But on the other.... Im like really??? A strong female thats got the guts to disguise herself as "one of the boys" has to be the gay/bi one too??? There's something annoying about that to me.... A bi/gay female doesn't have to be masculine....

I wanted to say this but didn't know how to word it. It's like a female can't be physically and mentally strong unless they're gay or bi.

If they did that, I would LOVE it. And I am totally here for a Once Upon a Time: Neverland mini series. Though I doubt we will get that due to Wonderland :(

Id imagine it could have something to do with the mermaid Regina killed... Not sure what...

Though the Ariel neverland scenes could all be a flashback couldn't they? Or hell maybe we're getting a once first... And her story has yet to happen... Its the curse and storybrooke where she get her legs for the first time

There seems to be a touch of "true believer" (no pun intended) zeal in Pan. Maybe he knows that a Multiverse with magic dying out is a danger? In any case, great casting for Pan. He comes off as an old soul in a young body, even if in many ways he's still the crafty rapscallion he's always been.

Fixed. :o

****ing up everything Sawyer loves IS the Disney mission statement, right?

Yeah i feel like he's being quite honest with Henry about magic dying... Though.... That also goes completely against the home office and camera killing magical beings... Unless her device was harnessing magic? Idk ... But it seems like that plot us completely dropped and they're in a hurry to ignore it..

I said it a while ago, but with tink's magic being cut off... I do have to wonder if he's doing it all for her.

She doesn't get her legs due to the curse, that much is known since we see a pic of her and Eric dancing and wearing old timey fashion clothes.

But I want to see Mulan/Mushu! I know that the old guy in s2 was likely him but I want to see that little dragon with attitude.

Tamara and Mendel are probably going to go down in the shows history as a story path they just forgot about. Like finding out what happened to Cinderella's Prince at the well. Sure, he ended up with her in Storybrooke, but what was THAT all about? The show needs a continuity cop, big time.

Not so much a continuity cop but more like a follow up cop. The whole homeland thing was useless as hell and nothing good came out of it. I just hope the writers learned their lesson from that.

And I am hoping that Tinkerbell doesn't spend all of Neverland powerless. We need some magical beings post curse Neverland. And I wonder if they plan on introducing Tiger Lily and fam. cause it seems like they would run into them at some point.

This thing they started tonight with Mulan isn't something they threw out there just for the sake of throwing it out there. It's going to have a resolution.

The reason I know this is because Adam and Eddy have said that Mulan and Aurora have significant story time in the first half of the season (the first 11 episodes).

Well there's more than one agrobah genie... There could be many a dragon

As much as I want to trust them, you can never fully trust writers. Storylines change all the time. Look at how Ruby was suppose to have a big role in s2 but that changed and the actress is gone because of it.

Did she leave because of lack of screentime? I will say... I miss trashy Ruby. :csad:

I thought the way the writers were at least straight with Ory about the whole thing, and let her do that other pilot, was pretty admirable. If it had been Ryan Murphy with an actor on Glee.... well, we know how that would go. :o

Yeah the writers were great with letting her out of her contract but still sucked for her storyline wise. But at least she will have a show to go back to if her new one doesn't work out.

1) The subtraction of the size of Ruby's role was a consequence of things being accelerated
2) Adam and Eddy released Meghan from her contract after things changed and allowed her to do a last-minute audition for the pilot she ended up getting involved with, and, despite the comments she made expressing disappointment in how the situation was handled insofar as her finding out about the story changes, I believe that Meghan has said she's on good terms with Adam and Eddy, and I know that they've said they'd bring her back in a heartbeat for a guest role or two if her schedule permitted it
