I mean, I got the whole "We Are Both" thing David tried to sell at the beginning of S2. Personality-wise, they all have had their cursed personas woven into their Enchanted Forest personas, but for a guy who was in a coma for 95% of the time they were all cursed to use her cursed name rather than the name she had when they met, fell in love and got married? Come on, bruh.

She's the only one it really bothers me with, too. Regina and David have the same names either way. Belle was only Lacey for, like, a month. Rumple gets called Gold a lot, but it kind of works. Emma, Henry, Hook, Zelena, Robin never had cursed personas, and the people who did are good for only a line or two per episode. Mary Margaret is the only one still hanging around that irritates me.

Ooh, the Holy Grail. Has the show ever done religious artifacts like that before? Also, did anyone notice any possible easter eggs when the dagger was showing the names of the older dark ones? The only name I could make out was Gorgon.

Yeah, it is an interesting mix. The holy grail and Prometheus.

I did notice that Merlin's name wasn't on the blade anymore. So, I'm guessing Excalibur doesn't work like the Dark One's blade.

Though, I am curious what the Darkness actually is now. Is it something Nimue absorbed, like the ember? Or did the writers forget the reason Emma took up the damn blade in the first place? Leaning toward option 2.

i didn't even notice other names...

as for the Holy Grail, I got the impression by the fact Merlin said "by the gods" that this is not meant to be a christian artifact.. but one that ties into mythology... even if it bares the same name.

we are starting to get VERY greek on the show... especially with another greek addition of the ember/fire of Prometheus

oh and With the whole Rumple / Brave thing... this season is clearly about "heroes" and what it means to be a hero... which actually fits well in with Hercules... who we all know is coming

I didn't find it ridiculous at all.. it's part of Arthurian Legend... and it doesn't have to be Christian in Origin.... it could originate from Greek Mythology on this show.

and it was a nice way to show the origin of Merlin, Excalibur and The Dark One

Victoria Smurfit, who played the murderous Cruella De Vil, will be returning to Once Upon a Time, TVGuide.com has learned. She will be back for the second half of the season for multiple episodes, but she is not appearing in the 100th episode.

But wait, didn't she die when Emma (Jennifer Morrison) blasted her off a cliff? Yes, yes, she did. There's no word on exactly how the dastardly damsel of the dalmatians will return, but she does fall nicely with our theory that Once will be visiting Hell in the second half of the season, where we'll reunite with others who have died.
