Only to give him a redemption story right afterwards.

The more I look around social media, the more convinced I am that SwanQueen is one of the most annoying fandoms that has ever existed. Jesus H. f***ing Christ...

Shouldn't be any surprise given that Regina is involved, but still...

Curious how Captain Swan will be resurrected. Seeing the trailer until March looked promising. Pan is coming back. :D

It is pretty much, not the whole fandom...but a lot of it.

Especially the extreme bullying of the cast, the self entitlement, playing the victim etc...its pretty awful.
Its pretty toxic, they throw harmful words around...without knowing what they mean.

Can you imagine if this show was a musical with all the Disney music, but they would instead butcher the music like they did with "Be Our Guest" in The Descendants? :o:oldrazz::csad:

If you have heard this, you would realize how evil this truly is. :csad:

Chicago Fire alum Teri Reeves is set to heat things up in Once Upon a Time‘s land of Oz.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Reeves has landed the recurring role of Kansas native Dorothy Gale, who since the last time we saw her (in Season 3) has grown up to be a “brave warrior for good.”

Having returned home at the end of Season 3’s Zelena-centric “Kansas” episode (then played by Matreya Scarrwener), Dorothy returns to Oz to save her city from the most wicked of witches. But to do so, Dorothy will have to forge new friendships, unlocking a strength she’s never had before.

In addition to her Season 1 Chicago Fire run (as Casey’s former, late fiancée), Reeves’ TV credits include episodes of Castle, Scandal, NCIS and Three Rivers.

ABC’s Once Upon a Time resumes Season 5 on March 6 with Episode 12; Reeves debuts in Episode 16.

Once Upon a Time reveals season 5B's fiery villain
BY NATALIE ABRAMS

Over the course of five seasons on Once Upon a Time, the residents of Storybrooke have been plagued by wicked witches, icy queens, and even a murderous Peter Pan — But Emma (Jennifer Morrison) & Co. will face their toughest opponent yet when they arrive in the Underworld.

EW can exclusively reveal what many have speculated: Ally McBeal alum Greg Germann will indeed be playing Hades, the devilish dictator of the Underworld.

“We’re going to be meeting the Once Upon a Time version of Hades in the second half of the season,” executive producer Adam Horowitz tells EW. “While he is both inspired by a myth and by the Disney movie version, as we like to do, we’re trying to create our own Once Upon a Time spin. We can’t wait for everyone to see what [Germann] does with the character.”

Germann is slated to make his debut “right away” in the midseason premiere, which also marks the ABC fairy tale drama’s landmark 100th episode, in which Emma, her friends and family try to rescue Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) from the Underworld. “He absolutely has a surprising connection to one of our cast,” executive producer Edward Kitsis says, though Horowitz is quick to add: “Before everyone runs to Twitter to give their opinions on it, he’s not related to anyone, but there is a connection.”

ooh what a surprise! He has a connection to someone. Either Snow/Rumple/Regina.

He's someone's step father. That way he's "family" without being directly related.

The Hot Seat: Once Upon a Time bosses answer your burning questions
BY NATALIE ABRAMS

As our favorite heroes and villains head to the Underworld in a bid to save Hook, EW has decided it’s time to put Once Upon a Time executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis in The Hot Seat, where they have the option of answering your questions from Twitter with “Yes,” “No” or “Can’t say.” Get the scoop below:

Do people in the Underworld still have their memories?
EDWARD KITSIS AND ADAM HOROWITZ: Yes.

Is the Underworld only full of villains?
KITSIS AND HOROWITZ: No.

Will they be in the Underworld for the whole of 5B?
KITSIS AND HOROWITZ: No.

Since they are already in the Underworld, does that mean they can’t die or kill anyone?
KITSIS: Nope.
HOROWITZ: Just to clarify.
KITSIS: They can die. They can kill.
HOROWITZ: There are new consequences that are outlined.
KITSIS: There are things that apparently are worse than death.

Everyone brought weapons, but can you actually defeat people that are already dead?
HOROWITZ: Not using conventional weapons.

If they can bring Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) back, is there a chance they can bring anyone else back?
HOROWITZ: Who said they can bring back Hook?
KITSIS: He may die there. To be honest, he’s already dead.
HOROWITZ: He may die harder.
KITSIS: He may rot there.

Will we get to see badass Emma (Jennifer Morrison) of season 1 again?
KITSIS: Absolutely.
HOROWITZ: Emma is absolutely badass.
KITSIS: I’ve got to be honest. I feel like Emma’s been pretty much badass for five seasons. I don’t know what season she wasn’t badass. She killed Cruella [Victoria Smurfit]!
HOROWITZ: She’s a tough woman.

Emma plans to split her heart to share it with Hook. Will it be as easy as that?
KITSIS: It never is.
HOROWITZ: No.

Will we get any insight into the consequences of sharing a heart?
KITSIS: Perhaps.

Was the ship little Killian and Liam were on the Jolly Roger?
KITSIS: No, that was not the Jolly Roger.

Was the story Killian’s father (Adam Croasdell) told about being under a sleeping curse and awoken by true love’s kiss true?
HOROWITZ: Yes.

We met Papa Jones in the winter finale, any plans to meet Mama Jones in the future?
HOROWITZ: Can’t say.
KITSIS: Probably not this year.

Will we see Charming’s (Josh Dallas) twin brother in the Underworld?
KITSIS: Absolutely.
HOROWITZ: Yes.

Will there be some tension between Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Cora (Barbara Hershey) since Snow killed her?
KITSIS AND HOROWITZ: Can’t say.

Will Regina (Lana Parrilla) be confronted by a lot of her murder victims?
HOROWITZ: It would stand to reason that some of her victims might be in the Underworld, yes.

Will there be any follow-up to the Regina the Savior story line that was hinted early on this season?
KITSIS: I feel like that kind of got wrapped up in Camelot in a sense that she just did it to buy them time. She wasn’t actually the Savior. She was trying to prevent Emma from using Dark magic and letting Arthur [Liam Garrigan] know, because they didn’t want him to know what was up. I don’t think it was ever really anything than just that.

Will we see Emma and Regina make magic together again?
HOROWITZ: They will both be using magic.
KITSIS: They will definitely be working together in the Underworld.

Will Henry (Jared Gilmore) finally get to meet Henry Sr (Tony Perez)?
HOROWITZ: Can’t say.
KITSIS: But boy would that be nice.
HOROWITZ: That would be emotional.

Can Henry as the author affect anything in the Underworld?
KITSIS: We’re going to find out!
HOROWITZ: Can’t say. [Laughs]

Does Henry have an Operation name for the search for Hook yet?
KITSIS: Yup.

Will Cora having her heart back affect who she is in the Underworld?
KITSIS: Yup.

Will we learn the name of Robin’s (Sean Maguire) baby in the premiere?
KITSIS: Nope.
HOROWITZ: Not in the premiere.

Does Robin know that Regina can’t have children?
KITSIS: He knows.
HOROWITZ: We haven’t seen the scene, but he knows and is aware of that.

Will we finally learn more about Robin’s past?
KITSIS AND HOROWITZ: Can’t say.

Do you think Zelena (Rebecca Mader) is capable of love?
KITSIS: I would say that is a question we would like to explore.

Is there a deeper motive for Rumple (Robert Carlyle) wanting to become the Dark One again that will be explored in 5B?
KITSIS: Yes.
HOROWITZ: We’re going to attempt to delve deeper into his psyche.

Will Rumple act any different with his Dark One powers now that he became a hero?
HOROWITZ: Yeah, Rumple is an evolving character, so yes, he’s going to be continuing to grow and change based on all the experiences we’ve seen him go through over the course of the show.

Is Emilie de Ravin’s pregnancy being written in?
KITSIS: We’ll have to wait and see.
HOROWITZ: She’s on the show. So if anyone is concerned that, because of the pregnancy, they’re not going to be seeing her, that’s not the case.

Would a baby from the Dark One be different than a normal baby?
KITSIS: Oh, who knows?
HOROWITZ: That’s a great question.
KITSIS: We haven’t see one yet.

Will we see Belle’s mother (Frances O’Connor) again?
KITSIS: I will say this, we will see Belle’s past, but we will not see her mother. We’re going to see Belle’s past pre-Rumple, but it will not include her mom.

Are we going to learn who Rumple’s mother is?
HOROWITZ: Can’t say.

Will we find out the significance of Rumple’s dagger looking different now?
KITSIS: I believe that is because when he stole the Dark power from everybody and put it into a new dagger, we’re seeing the effects of the merged, re-formed Excalibur reverting back into a dagger.

Will we see Tarzan in the near future?
HOROWITZ: Warner Bros. is releasing a movie. It looks pretty cool.

Will we meet Zeus and see Olympus?
HOROWITZ: That’s a great question.
KITSIS: But we can’t say.

Will Lily’s (Agnes Bruckner) quest to find her father ever be addressed?
HOROWITZ: Not immediately, but it’s on our to do list.

Is there more time in Camelot that we didn’t see?
KITSIS: Is there more time in Camelot that we didn’t see? Yes. Will we be going back to show it? No. Will we be resolving the Camelot people that everyone is wondering what the hell happened? Yes.

Any chance to see Elizabeth Mitchell back as Ingrid?
HOROWITZ: That’s a tough one. Never say never. We love Elizabeth.
KITSIS: We certainly do.
HOROWITZ: We love her very much, so let’s leave it at that for now.

Would you ever do an episode where we see how things would turn out if Regina never cast the curse?
KITSIS: That has potential.

Will we ever see the Storybrooke characters watch the Disney animated versions of themselves?
HOROWITZ: We’ve had them reference it. We’ve had Hook discussing his animated version. We don’t have immediate plans, but that’s a fun idea.

Will there be a season 5B wedding or engagement?
HOROWITZ: Can’t say.
Knowing that Regina's father will be seen again, I legitimately hope he doesn't forgive her for what she did to him. In general, I find they're all too forgiving of her actions to begin with on this show, I kind of want someone to put their foot down and say no. What better person to do that than her father?

I also have a glimmer of hope that since they are once again retreading the Rumple is the Dark One storyline but claim he is an evolving character that it actually means something this time.

I keep trying to think over why he did it and maybe see it from a pragmatic perspective and think that maybe he did it as a way to get them all out of ending up in the Underworld... but then that wouldn't make sense, because his plan only works with either Emma or Hook dying and getting rid of all the Dark Ones, in which case, none of them were in any danger anymore. So, it's basically just a case of him being an opportunistic dick.

The only other out I can really think of is this: Emma was able to hear the dagger calling out to her at the end of the midseason finale. Clearly the Darkness still has some level of pull on those who are no longer "The Dark One". Maybe, knowing that Emma was intending to destroy it once and for all, the Darkness pulled his strings a bit in order to save itself.

EW: Once Upon a Time stars praise Emma-Regina relationship

Let me guess the SwanQueen response to this: "Ohh, how dare they act like their relationship is platonic when they've never once kissed, had sex or even displayed a romantic interest in one another?!? **** YOU, EDDY AND ADAM!!!!1!"

That wasn't even a guess, btw, because Lana had to post something on Twitter a few hours afterward just to get everyone to relax.

I repeat: Worst sect of fandom ever. :o

Pretty much.
They really take the fun out of this show, when you try to get involved with the fans and the fandoms.

They burn every single bridge, attack every actor, writer, director, cast member, network, site etc that doesnt give them what they want.
And that while they hide behind LGBT and big words that they dont even know what they mean.

I really pity the few good fans of that "ship", they get thrown into the same line as the garbage that walks around.

There are fans hoping for a romantic relationship between Swan and Regina ? Really ?

There are. Most of them I assume are rational, realistic people who know it won't happen. The rest are irrational, insane and determined that it will happen or imagining it is secretly happening.

I think it could be an interesting relationship but I'm not really shipping it either. I can see the potential for it and it would smooth over a lot of issues regarding Henry's "mothers" but I also don't think there will ever be more than a close, sisterly relationship between them at best.

And worst of all, the latter group is the loudest of them all. And their screams drown out any sort of rational discourse coming from the former group.

People can ship whoever the hell they want, but so many of these hardcore shippers have got to learn that they aren't entitled to have the writers make those ships canon.

There are some shippers even more crazy though. The Sam and Dean Winchester and Anna/Elsa ones are more creepy but at least they aren't advocating for it to become canonical.

Somehow I wandered into a Wincest-adjacent Tumblr tag a few weeks back and I'm still scarred by it.
