Since they used mythology hercules, i guess they gone with mythology megara too...so i understand that she isnt as sassy and all.
But the whole thing with hercules or snows doubts etc, is the reason why i think a full season approach is needed again.
This was all done way too fast, it could have easily filled 2-3 episodes.
But otherwise the episode was pretty good.

I love Cruella, I love Hades...good villians are the greatest thing in tv shows.

But again the episode showed why i will never be a fan of Regina.

Two times in the episode, she shrugged things off she done.
She excused herself when confronted with the Blind witch, instead of admiting her fault.
She made it look like its all on the Blind Witch.

And the second time was when she confronted Snow and shrugged off how hard she made Snows live and how much she destroyed it.
I know snow, emma, charming dont care for a Apology...but she never once showed that she is sorry for all what she caused them.

Anyway, so far i really like where this season half is going.

She became sassy once Cerberus was dead.. her flirting was spot on meg.

That being said.. i really want these 2 to return I loved them both

I had low expectations for teenage Herc but damn, not that low. The way the show did it Robin Hood and 2 of his merry men could have killed Cerberus easily. Actually unless they said you had to kill all three heads once and I missed it Robin Hood could have done it by himself. Sad. I would have loved to see a Sorbo level or higher Hercules beating the crap out of Rumple for as long as I could get, he has it coming.

As for the last scene if I were Hook I would be inscribing the name of my good friend Mr. Gold, probably won't work it's worth a try in case there is some sort of magic on the tombstones.

the way cerberus was killed as a bit annoying indeed... i expected herc to ride him and take him down...

It was an ok episode. Herc/Meg were the weakest points though. Hercs entire look was just way to beiber for me, and they just had him give pep talks instead of him being this amazing legend, put those muscles where his mouth was sometime. Meg also spent to much time being in damsel mode, they should've had her be duplicitous for part of it instead of just another full blown victim

I enjoyed both of them. But just 1-off episodes simply don't give them justice... and they needed to be part of this seasons storyline.. especially when tying in Hades and the Greek Pantheon

Bringing back Cruella? Eh. She can't kill anybody, so she's a minimal threat.

Now if he decided to bring back Cora...

What if that doesn't apply to her anymore? She's "dead" technically, it should be a do over if she gets out of hell.

I would have expected him to pick up something large enough to smash all three heads at once. Rip up a tree in their first encounter of find a vehicle to toss in faux Storybrook.

So who is Berryl Dendrus? Thats the name that was on the tomb next to Hercules

Probably a character waiting to be introduced or a made up name for the hell of it.

shame about herc, for a single episode that was extremely poor. and i'll admit my bias as shes my favourite disney princess but that portrayal of meg was terrible. missed the whole point of the character

‘Once Upon A Time’ Casts Duo For Mental Hospital Arc
by Denise Petski

Hank Harris (The Man in the High Castle) and Being Human alum Sam Witwer have signed on for recurring roles in ABC’s hit drama series Once Upon A Time.

Harris will play Nathaniel, a meek and troubled patient at a mental institution who finds himself trapped under the thumb of its evil and overbearing warden, Jacob (Witwer), who takes pleasure in tormenting his most disturbed and helpless patients.

Once Upon a Time tells the story of a new world where fairy-tale legends and modern life collide. Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) is comfortable in her life as a bail bonds collector when Henry — the child she gave up a decade earlier — suddenly shows up, convinced that she is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, who sent her away before the Evil Queen could cast a spell, freezing the fairytale world in time and bringing them to present-day Storybrooke, Maine. After taking Henry home, Emma decides to stay in the town to keep an eye on him, and she discovers he may not be wrong after all.

Harris, repped by Global Artists Agency and the Coronel Group, most recently recurred on Amazon’s Man in the High Castle and WGN’s Salem. Witwer is repped by Gilbertson Entertainment and UTA.

Once Upon a Time, now in the second half of Season 5, was recently renewed for a sixth season.
YAAAAAAAASSS Sam Witwer.

Utterly confused about everything else, though. :o

So someone's obviously gonna end up in the green at some point, right? :o

Well, I think it would be obvious who pushes who this episode.

And lol at Rumple giving a brief rundown of the relationship Emma has with Mila.

Hey, Battlestar fans -- look for the lovely Aaron Douglas in tonight's episode! #OnceUponATime
:awesome:

My mom has been watching this since it premiered. Her favorite was when they had the Frozen sister, Anna and Elsa and she loved the actresses who played the Frozen sisters. She also liked who that had played Merida.

This show has been getting old hat. I still enjoy it okay but lately it has been wearing the story thin repeating itself over and over. Other than the revelation about Belle it didn't seem like we really needed another excuse to see Rumple betray people for his own selfish reasons. Again.

The blue flames is a nice homage but please never do it again ONCE, it looks tackey if you aren't going to go full throttle with his appearance.

"I see you're admiring my fur. Doe skin, of all things. I'm not saying it's Bambi's iconic dead mother...and I'm not saying it's not."

I'm so happy to have her back.

Part of me is enjoying the last couple episodes, the other part of me wants to know why Hades is afraid of Regina so much more than he is of Rumple. And was that the Turtle actor from The Flash "Potential Energy" who made a deal with Rumple to heal Bae? It looked and sounded like him.

Makes me laugh every time.

The show is beginning to lost me, I'm less and less interested in the story....but I keep watching albeit with distant eyes.

Yes he was, he was also a Final Five in BSG.
