Once Upon a Time Casts Walking Dead Alum Andrew J. West in Finale Mystery Role, Possible Season 7 Regular
Though ABC is parting with no details on the role, TVLine previously reported that Once was casting a “strong yet vulnerable” leading man in his late 20s to mid-30s, a gent who was once optimistic and hopeful but now is a friendless, cynical recluse. That said, he still possesses a dormant, deep-seated spark of hope that waits for the right person to reignite it.
Character description + Overall look + the show possibly facing a reboot and/or endgame... he has to be playing [blackout]an older Henry[/blackout] right?

Possibly. I'd rather they didn't, though
it could be used to get his character back into the main stream story line. Henry seems to have been edged out as we got to know Storybrook and its residents. And it would get focus back on the primary characters of Emma, Charming and Snow, and Regina.

I haven't watched at all this season, but Morg's post has me intrigued. What just happened?

Something in the past that will indeed F-things up for the future... :wow:

An outstanding episode, especially when I thought that something Charming-Fillian-centric would have be a bit of a yawn... Fool's me.:oldrazz:

Ho damn.

Really liked last nights episode, its interesting to see how much better the show feels with less Regina.

This episode showed what is possible with good writers and when the actors have better material to work with.

But what i dont like and never liked about the show is this need to add another pile of Drama to the drama.

Letting the characters, the viewers and fans breath for a bit wouldnt hurt.
Making Killian the killer of Charmings father was not only predictable, it was also quite unnecessary.

The Story as it was, would have made this imo a lot better.

One of the worst things about the show imo is that they try to have everybody connected in some way with each other.
This character has done that to this characters family, here we have character a having crossed paths with character b grandmother and all...really unnecessary.

But okay, i liked the episode, it had everything good and bad about Once Upon A Time.

yeah... last night Hellogiggles broke news that Snow and Charming may not return for season 7... kinda ok with that...

apparently 7 will be sorta a reboot of sorts to the franchise... which is also welcome.. pace severely needs changed... and there have been a plethora of interesting characters introduced that went no where.

Holy s****!

That contrived, can't-resist-another-connection trope OUAT is (in)famous for. Everything/one/event is all connected together that really have no purpose in existing except that the writers can't let go of their addiction to endless connections to the past.

You know, I never knew, until Thor was on TV last night, that Josh Dallas was in it...

Beowulf tonight.

Oh bloody hell, the evil Queen is back?

I tried to watch tonight. Realized I'm just not into it anymore. :(

Interested to see where they're taking this Nu-Robin. Will he stay a not so bad badguy or will they eventually get the original Robin back? Will Regina's heart ever become whole? Will Rumpl ever just go away..?

Seriously, I think his story line has played out and we're just retreading his past.

I like the show, but I think the time of him being central to just about every story line should be allowed to fade.

And has anyone yet just outright said that Gideon is crazy? No matter how they try and reason with him, a guy planning to kill innocents in order to be a hero is not in their right mind.

Hope we get back to an Emma-centric story in the next ep.

It does need a shake up. If Snow and Charming exit the show and take Rumple with them it will free them up to move onto something besides yet another iteration of the same story since season 1.

Regina vs. Evil Queen tonight

and Emma finds out who he killed and the wedding is off

Quite the anti-climatic resolution with Robin

EDIT: Nevermind

Well, I really liked this episode. Both Killian's and especially Regina's arcs.

Her flashbacks really played into her resolution with the Evil Queen. I liked how they carried it out. I know they could have gone entirely the other way with only one coming out alive, but deciding to share all of her newfound goodness while also sharing her darkness was a great idea.
She, hopefully, gets her happy ever after.
Although, if she is now on that Robin's world, then everyone there knows of the Evil Queen, and King Henry will be Hell-bent on revenge since the 'other' Regina 'killed' his grandparents and his mother has disappeared... Woops... Something tells me we'll be seeing (E)Regina again.

If that's the only change for Season 7 how can things really be that different ? Get rid of Gold, Regina, Hook, Henry & upgrade other characters to main ones & they will have something but they might as well cancel the damn thing if thats the only difference for a possible next season the cast needs a serious shake up. There is the concept of other saviors so maybe have Emma train the next savior etc

Hell they can pull a Zelda & Emma gets injured in a battle & in order to save her life she gets put into a magical comma & wakes up 100 years ish or so later & she meets the descendants of previous characters etc do something

Anything different

Sad to see them go if they do, but they have more personal obligations now I guess.

I wouldn't mind if they got rid of Gold or Hook, but keep Emma, Regina and Henry. I'm glad they actually had some dialogue with him (Henry) this last episode. And one of the things they should do, is start leaving their pasts in the past. After six seasons, we've really delved into their history, so much so that it has long since lost it's punch.

Maybe they should start moving out of Storybrook? Magic can exist outside of it now, and maybe even do alternate dimensions, such as where Emma is the Dark Swan that was promised and is super evil and conquered her Storybrook.

Or maybe have some more Untold Stories. We only really had Hyde and then there were no more after that.

It may be a bit repetitive, but I still like show and would like to see it continue.

Hook, Jasmine and Ariel trapped in a sub tonight.

Apparently majority of the cast didnt attend the wrap party. Weird.

Finally saw this one tonight. Have to say this is the best episode with Jasmine and Aladdin. Every time before seemed short and cheesy, but this time they actually acted well together and had some good dialog. Loved Jaffar!

And when he broke his genie curse, Ariel's response was great.
The initial arc with Emma, Snow and Regina was coming off a bit weak, at least until the end. Nice touch having Gideon trick her into getting her tears. Now she'll be facing the Black Fairy, because apparently Gideon finally got smart. Don't kill the Savior - but get the Savior to kill for you...
