Xbox Achievements & General Xbox Game Progress

Yeah, the husks are no threat on other difficulties and suddenly in your face on Insanity. It takes an extra shot to kill them and that gives them a much higher chance of getting a hit in on you. There's another level with a tonne of husks, forgot what it's called now. If you've beaten Horizon you should be fine on everything else, the Collector ship was the hardest part to me although I was completely unprepared for it without medi-gel and all the wrong powers.

dat starport :cmad: dose scions :cmad: so many deaths were had

Is that the end section where you have to defend the cannons? I had no problems with the Scions, like I said... HUSKS!!!. I'm dreading Legion`s recruitment.

Before having ever played a Mass Effect I thought Husks would be the equivalent of Halo`s Grunts. Nope.
He might mean the ones on the Collector ship although the Horizon ones can cause trouble to some if they use the wrong tactics.

Ha, I was thinking the same on Husks after the easier playthrough. Just remembered that mission with the husks at the end is the Reaper IFF.

I think in 1999 mode the saves are a bit fewer in between and in the normal mode they're a bit closer together as well as there being more. First thing you do in 1999 mode is upgrade all your shields and then the mode isn't too hard. The final battle can be really frustrating on any difficulty but all you have to do is throw a few Return to Sender traps onto the core and then you should be fine. Also in the 1999 mode theres an achievement for not buying anything at the Dollar Bill vending machines, which makes it that much harder.

1999 mode wasn't that hard, but you do need to figure out what hack you are going to use to beat siren, there are a couple, so choosing early is necessity. So you know what to put your money in. Also run from as many fights as you can. For example the 2nd to last fight is completely avoidable. I would recommend finishing your item hunting (the voxophones and sighseer) before starting 1999 because once you start it you can't change the difficulty. So I ended up having to do a 3rd playthrough when i expected to just load up the chapters and go hunting.

Agreed with all of this. I went right at the Siren, took her with a fully upgraded Charge, Burning Halo and Brittle Skin and an upgraded shotgun with a little Murder of Crows on the side. Each fight she was done in about 15 seconds. Actually that combination makes the game pretty dang easy.

Thanks for these tips, getting close to finishing normal mode, not sure if I'll start 1999 right after, but will definitely keep this in mind when I do.

Update on Mass Effect after Citadel DLC:

Mass Effect 3 1550/1550
Mass Effect 2 1355/1355
Mass Effect 2 JP 1000/1000
Mass Effect 1200/1200

Starting up Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, just going to go for the single player achievements. I know I won't get the mulitplayer ones.

I'm in progress on about 100 games, need to start finishing things up lol.

The ones I'm actually trying to do right this minute:

Singularity 850/1000 - need to play 100 matches of Extermination..takes ages! Quite fun though
Gears Judgment - 690/1250 - Finish Insane campaign with all stars & declassifieds plus Onyx War Supporter & DLC
Tomb Raider - 170/1000 - hardly any campaign achievements yet despite playing for quite a long time
Culdcept Saga - 90/1000
Damnation - 295/1000
Cursed Crusade - 0/1000 co-op
Dawn of War II - 185/2000 co-op
Enslaved - 10/1000
The Witcher 2 - 35/1000

I did the War for Cybertron multiplayer achievements. Luckily was halfway through doing them when they decided to make it easier by making it permanent double XP. Actually could have done with that before I even started. :woot:

How long did it take to find the dragon? When I didn't find it for about 10 hours I was thinking it could take any amount of time but luckily wasn't too much longer. And I have one glitched achievement left to get to max Skyrim out. :csad:

just had to grind my way to level 78 and clear out the dragon walls, when the dragons there respawned it was legendary. What's your last achievement?

Stalhrim Crafter - Craft an item out of Stalhrim.

The quest for that is glitched. I can't get the right conversation prompts to come up to trigger the quest.

You don't have any saves before the temple of Miraak quest?

Oh yeah I do. Just haven't got around to doing it yet. I kind of wanted everything done on the one perfect save also and for earlier known glitches that I encountered Bethesda eventually patched them.

Final Fantasy XIII feels like it's going to take a longggggg time! All those hours and I have only 120G.

Just need the `Unwavering` achievement to max out Mass Effect 3 and the series altogether.

Excellent work!

Almost done with Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, just need to complete the game on hard difficultly (3 more chapters left) while getting all the collectibles and upgrading weapons.

Going to either finish up Bioshock Infinte (1999 mode and collectibles) or move on to Assasin's Creed or Dishonored after that.

Did you do War For Cybertron? Are the achievements for Fall similar? (if you did)

I've done the single player achievements for both "War for" and "Fall of". It's pretty similar, you get an acheivement for each chapter. Then beating the game on easy, medium and hard difficulties (which stack), also a level specific challenge for each level. That's around half the achievements. There's a few more, mostly revolving around the ability to upgrade weapons. A bunch of mulitplayer achievements as well, that I know I won't get, so not even going to try.

I'm trying to finish the achievements of some really old games that are half finished. Need 130 wins to get 1000 on FIFA.........07! Haha. Least I can clear up some space when I get these done.

How is the sequel compared to the 1st game?

I thought the second one was better. You have a set character for each level, but I think it works better that way. It gives each level a different feel and the player more variety. The story is also really interesting since it's really the last days of cybertron.

Finishing up Bioshock Infinite now, working on the 1999 mode playthrough without using Dollar Bill machines while getting all infusions, voxophones and kineto/telescopes. Got the kineto/telescope and infusion achievements (thanks to the season pass got the infusion one early). About to start the first of the Lady Comstock fights and am hoping I can get the Charge strategy to work on her since she was tough enough on Normal difficulty.

Look forward to playing it then as I liked the 1st one. Although it was fun for having the 3 player co-op.

As for Bioshock Infinite I think I'll get that towards the end of this year and have a marathon with all 3 games. Not looking forward to that hard mode though!
