And this is why you'll never hear me say anything disparaging about the Fleck, he is my Mass representation. No different than me with the schlubiness and Dunkins heals all wounds :o
I mean, I'm a Krispy Kreme girl from Alabama but that doesn't stop me from disparaging Channing Tatum*. :o

*actually I have no beef with him these days, but I used to hate him lol.

Glad to see Affleck finally gave up on playing superheroes. Working at Dunkin is a much better fit for him.

I love massively extended director's cuts for home viewing, and they usually become my definitive version of the film at the expense of the regular cut. At home where you can pause and take breaks if needed, there is no need for something to be paced for a 2/2.5 hour viewing and face pressure to fit in and cut good material out as a result. In anything with an immersive atmosphere/world, further time spent in that world is a bonus for me even with scenes which aren't on the same level as those released in theatrical. The difference between a good novel and a great novella for me is that length of time immersed which allows you to get deeper into the escapism.
There is nothing more depressing than an "extended cut " that only has five extra minutes put back in. (Yeah, I fell for that once). :( That's why I like Cameron's extended cuts - T2, Abyss, Alien2, Avatar. The long cuts are superior to the theatrical cuts by far.

Well sir I’m bougie, so you know I drink Starbucks.
Starbucks coffee > Dunkin coffee
but
Dunkin food > Starbucks food

Not like Dunkin's food is perfect, it's far from it, but Starbucks will give you a sausage egg and cheese the size of a quarter and charge $7 for it. They should stick to coffee and only coffee. :o

Yeah, but Affleck gives us schluby Mass folks hope that we too can aspire to marry someone as pretty and rich as JLo. No one aspires to almost Gambit* :o

*No ill will towards Tatum. I have no issues with him either

For me it was 21 Jump Street that made me do a complete 180 and change my mind about Channing Tatum. He's way better in comedies.

The Magic Mike movies are some of the best, sweetest comedies out there and Tatum's natural doofy charm is a massive factor in their greatness.

Dunkins hands down makes the best breakfast out of any fast food joint. Can never go wrong with one of their sausage, egg and cheese croissants.

I change it up between getting the sandwich on a croissant or a bagel even though their bagels are basically just oversized burnt Cheerios.

LMAO. You got a point!

But God all this talk about bagels and croissants and breakfast sandwiches, and I'm over here on a diet eating sugar free jell-o and hope. Life's unfair.

But I digress.

Iger at Disney: We are going to stop nickel and diming at the parks.

Zaslav at WB: We are vaulting Looney Tunes and selling the library.

Believe in the Gunnverse at your own risk.

With the way things have been going lately, I'm just waiting for the push notification that Batman has been sold to Saudi Arabia.

Honestly, who I half expect to buy the music library. I just can't fathom all of this. This whole thing has been absolutely gross from the start and it's only getting worse and worse.

Your country is fundamentally broken. Timmie's forever.

...I don't drink coffee, but they should bring back the butter caramel hot smoothies.

I actually do have a local Tim Hortons. Probably a benefit of sharing a lot of water borders with Canada. But I don't go there. Got a local donut shop I go to.

I mean, he's doing Superman (he is 100% directing, no doubt about it). I know where my bets are in how well that performs. And well, if the pivoting after MoS was any indication, well, hold on to your seats with that movie as the launch pad.

Oh, and if you though Zaslav covering for Ezra was gross, we are about to enter a whole new level of grossness....

It's that small part underneath that knows that there are no real victories left to gain which turns any kind of notoriety and controversy into a victory, probably as a self-defence mechanism. My method is to try and ignore it. I ONLY know of many of these internet celebs who purposely stoke controversy like (**actually to follow my own advice I edited out who I'm referring to) for eg from here. Obviously not intended, but the regular complaining makes it more likely I or someone else who doesn't know about them will one day click on one of their videos or clickbait articles and give them traffic out of the curiosity of people talking about them so much, and others leave negative comments which creates activity (positive for youtube algorithm) when others then engage with those comments. Getting no reactions from others I think is far worse than the criticism they expect and are almost baiting, that lets them play into victimhood and the us-against-the-rest mentality that keeps this thing going forever. Just my take on it all. :yay:

Ignoring it is the best approach. Critising and ridiculing them just gives them more food for ridiculous thoughts.

I assume you mean Justin Roiland? I'm curious to see how that plays out. I think the top brass at Hulu will be quicker to bring the hammer down on him than WB with the two shows he has over there.

I think we can all agree though that Dunkins actual donuts suck a big one though
also I feel bad for those of you not in the NY/NJ metro area, if anybody would like me to ship them REAL bagels just let me know :oldrazz:
