You see one image of him with no mask and automatically assume that means no mask for the entire film? We know he doesn't wear a mask in this obviously, but there's been reports he does have another mask. Which is basically the same as TFA one with slight slight alterations and changes.

I think it is because we see it destroyed in the trailer. But that does kind of suggest he wears it at some point.

True, but yeah we know at some point he wears a mask again. I like him both with it and without it.

Yeah I too was thinking shouldn't his face be disfigured considering Rey she slashed his face in Episode 7 in their lightsaber battle so shouldn't his face have a huge scar? But also Kylo he was trying so hard to be his grandfather Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker that I wonder if he will start to go down that same path Anakin did by basically inheriting his grandfather's red lightsaber? I think we see Vader's lightsaber again and if we do Kylo will end up with it somehow

Exactly. It wouldn't surprise me if he does end up getting a new mask, and it also wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't.

It is. Should it be scarred more based on the injury he got at the end of TFA? Probably.

He has the scar above (his) right eye. Although I agree I was expecting a scar on his face like Tyrion Lannister.

The scar runs all the way down his cheek.

Nah, they have great medical tech in the GFFA. Bacta specifically which, according to the canon, can even heal without scars if the person is treated quickly enough. I'm sure Snoke allowed him some medical treatment once he got back to base.

I wonder what the significance of the destroyed helmet means though? A rejection of his old self in some way? That doesn't mean a turn to good by any means. It could be about embracing darkness even more. What if he finally learns the truth of Vader's demise?

He'll have it for a bit I would expect. A new, undamaged one, with a slightly large back end. A bit more like Vader or a samurai.

I am going to miss the hood, but I quite like the cape.

Looks like Kylo has a leather cape. Similar to the material used for Batman's cape in BvS. I hope it's like that in TLJ. Didn't like the idea of him having a full thin fabric cape.

And looking at the shoulder...it kind of looks like his outfit may be made out of the same material that Vader's body suit was made out of. It doesn't look like the soft fabric weave that he had in TFA.

One of my favorite things about TFA was the sound of Kylo's footsteps. I'm hyped for more of that.
