Age of Rage

Black Swan co-writer Mark Heyman has closed a deal to write Age of Rage, a sophisticated sci-fi project set up at Fox Searchlight with Marc Webb attached to direct.

Rage is set in a post-apocalyptic society where all the adults have died and a group of teens sets about trying to establish a new society.
Webb is in the thick of Spider-Man shooting and hasn’t made any decisions of his post-Spidey moves. But Rage is close to the director’s heart as it’s based on his idea.

It surely do sound interesting, hopefully Webb manages to do this after finished shooting the Spider-Man reboot.

Cool concept though it reminds me a bit of The Lord of the Flies. Marc Webb is becoming a very interesting director to watch.

Yeah it does have this Lord of the Flies feel to it but it all depends on the execution, having the co-writer of Black Swan is a good start to this project.
