Lol funny think is that in one move, it makes the TV show and the whole "Real Shield" subplot suddenly irrelevant. :drl:. (still like the show tho)
idk, I'm pretty sure AoS knew about that before writing the subplot, so there has to be some endgame with the nuSHIELD stuff.
but it makes the end of TWS completely irrelevant which should be a much bigger issue

Thanks for giving all this info, DarkPhoenix! I know it must be frustrating having people clamoring at you for the tiniest details about this movie.

So, let me clamor at you for a second about a tiny detail (that I haven't seen asked yet. apologies if it has)...

Why does Tony leave at the end? I read your reply that he left on good terms with Cap, but why leave at all? Guilt?

Guilt, not wanting to **** up anymore. That kind of stuff.

I'm pretty sure the NuShield and Project Theta stuff is leading up to this big AoU shield resurrection

That'hat I'm thinking too. Especially Project Theta. NuSHIELD doesn't know Fury is still alive but Coulson does and he probably secretly funds Fury and his team. (Or Fury does but uses Coulsons name)

Hey @DarkPhoenix82, when Clint takes his bags and leaves, does he say anything to the team regarding him coming back and simply leaving for a bit? Is it left open whether he will return or not? Clearly he will but in the sense of context in the story, is it acknowledged verbally that he is taking time off? Or will the general audience think he quit?

It's quite left open, but there's no reason to assume he won't be back. He's had his family for literally years, under the radar of SHIELD with Fury's help. He's clearly there as often as possible. His wife and him talk about how he really wants to be part of the team and she supports him and thinks they need him, but he also wants to be with his family a lot. He's a good part of the team and satisfied with it at the end of the battle, he has no reason to leave for good. They don't talk about it, he just goes home with his stuff (which again makes sense since they all leave the Tower), and his wife hugs him happily with tears in her eyes. That all tells as that he's at least home for quite a while, which we know since she's pregnant at that time and the end scene at the new base takes place after the baby's been born. But we also know that he's in Civil War, so I stand -and nothing out there contradicts - that he's (just like in the comics) a full member of the team but only present at the must urgent need.

So Thor sees that Vision is necessary, Wanda shows Tony the future, and she's like that, but I wonder if Ultron is aware of the infinity stones? I would think he would be.

I love that the infinity gems are being used as MacGuffins in almost every "big scale" film now

Kudos to darkphoenix82 really. ..even the repeated questions were answered. .well repeatedly by DP82...u don't have to do that. .let interested parties read through the thread :)

More of a joke question but do they have a dog on the farm that looks like Pizza Dog at all? I'd seriously go nuts for that.

Unfortunately no. They make quite a stand in backing away from the Fraction background, though MCU Clint does have a bit of Fraction humor.

Hey there, thanks for all the spoilers! Quick questions: when Bruce decides to leave the battle, do they already know they're going to win? How close is it to being over?

Also, how did he get into the quinjet to begin with?

@DarkPhoenix Are there cool parts of Avengers Tower we haven't seen yet, do we get a lot of screen time in the tower and is it right that they can't go back to it at the end because the world hates them so thats why the Helicarrier is their new headquarters?

lol some joker on IMDB pretended they saw the movie. He was answering questions legitimately, ones he probably read from here or something for about 5 pages. Then he says Hulk kills black Widow, and it turned into a battle over there.
It was actually pretty funny

He just assumes he can't help anymore because he doesn't want to be Hulk anymore. So he wants to leave.

Not really. They didn't show the team quarters as promised. Just a kind of conference room, the sick bay which is right next to the lab... Everything else is pretty much in the material already released.

The Helicarrier isn't their new headquarters. Many ******** spoilers around, it seems. They have a normal, small base on the ground where they build the new team.

wait, I may be mistaken, but I remember that you wrote yesterday that Cho dies

Don't think so? If, then it must have really been the meds kicking in at that point. She gets wounded badly at some point, but she's back in the new Avengers base in the end.

I see. When does this occur, though? When it already looks like they're winning? It would be weird to leave if it seemed like they might lose and doom the entire planet. That's what confuses me.

Is it the Hulkbuster battle that makes him think he can't control the Hulk sufficiently, or is it something else?

How does Nat react?

ah, thank you for the clarification
