So what happens to Thor then?

And I can't believe that Hulk dies. He'll be back.

Thor goes back to Asgard. And nobody said Hulk dies what're you talking about? He just goes MIA that's all.

And they'll be like, "Where'd that guy come from? How'd he get his powers?" Since it seems he literally just fell off the back of a turnip truck :woot::woot::woot::woot:

No, they've said they explain where he comes from. Just not from Ultron. I don't get what is so mind blowing about that.

Im pretty sure somebody sugested that dr. Cho´s machine to create artificial tissue or something that she used to heal Barton has something to do with it, but i could be wrong.

Am I the only one happy that Quicksilver dies? I've always associated him more with the X-Men than the Avengers. Plus, it's easier to kill off Peitro and then have Wanda angst about him instead of having kids with Vision. It just flows better.

That and if Fox ever wishes to play ball, I can see some sort of House of M crossover occurring between the MCU and the Fox-Men. Fox-Men happened because Wanda changed nothing. The MCU occurred because Wanda witnessed Apocalypse's destruction of New York and performed a spell to remove mutants from the world. This wound up causing a new world where her and Pietro are the only remaining mutants.

In this new reality, Weapon X was never founded as there was no Dr. Nathan Essex during the war which led to HYDRA scientists being recruited to join shield and Leviathan instead. That led to Stark Industries stealing most of the top level talent from the Future Foundation so the Fantastic Four never had their accident. Without Apocalypse destroying New York City, the city streets were never changed due to reconstruction which led to Matt Murdoch being blinded. Without the X-Men, the Avengers formed to protect the world from super powered threats. Moreover, the Shi'Ar, Brood and Badoon were wiped from existence as they were the only other three sentient species in our galaxy to have mutants who had evolved to the point where they were ALL mutants.

A traumatic event causes Wanda to remember the other timeline and sets about merging universes so that she can once again see her late brother. The catch is that she's now created a whole new world where Magneto reigns supreme as emperor of the world and anyone without superpowers is seen as a freak. This leads to things like Hulk, Iron Fist and the Fantastic Four lying that they're mutants to gain acceptance while Magneto's rule has led to Doom and Zemo leading insurgencies where they're now seen as freedom fighters standing up against a tyrant. Iron Man and Black Widow are now considered to be dangerous menaces who are trying to fill the shoes of mutants despite not being worthy to be superheroes. The film ends with both universes merging in a new way, one where the X-Men from the 80s and the present day are brought to the present. Namor and Captain Marvel are now X-Men and Wolverine, Beast and Rogue are now Avengers, Cyclops and Havok are now brothers and there was also somehow a third Summers brother caused by Wandas's reality warping who was abducted by aliens and has seized control of the Shi'Ar Imperium and now wants to declare war on the Kree.

Kevin Feige at Disney and Lauren Schuler Donner at Fox both want this. The two studios co-produced Lincoln. They both put Simon Kinberg high up the food chain. It's just a question of whether or not Emma Watts and Alan Horn want to do it. I'd have Kinberg write the script and the Russo Brothers direct. Marvel would release House of M and get Fox's cut of the merchandise. Fox would in return get the X-Men TV rights and 100% of the box office profits from ticket sales. The catch is that Feige and Donner would have to collaborate when it comes to continuity.

Im going to love the Vision

Sounds like that hammer scene is going to be funny :yay:

Am I the only one happy that Quicksilver dies?

I'm not necessarily happy, but of the possible candidates (IE heroes not confirmed yet for future sequels) he is the one I'm most okay with.

I'm still kind of confused regarding Vision. So he's built by Tony, right? And then brought to life by Thor with the Gem after Scarlet Witch gives him his vision.

How does Ultron factor into that?

He does. But Dr. Cho has a convenient revolutionary skin graph machine that can make synthetic tissues... or how to conveniently set-up the coming of Vision.
That's exactly what I thought when reading the novel. lol

Regarding Quicksilver, I think killing him off in the first movie he appears in is ridiculous. It's like, "Let's build up these two inseparable characters who are the only thing the other has in the world, then kill one off so the other's angst will make them join the Avengers!" :whatever: Not to mention the fact that the audience will have little connection to the character. What's the point in 'raising the stakes' if the only character killed off is one no one cares about? I think it's lazy writing, and, ultimately, feels like another cheap shot by Marvel against Fox.

There's no way them killing off Quicksilver hurts Fox. In fact arguably it does the exact opposite, since people here kept predicting that he was gonna blow Fox's Quicksilver away and make everyone who liked him forget about the character.

I know it wouldn't be harmful to Fox. And I totally agree with you. That's why I said cheap :)

I predict Fox's Quicksilver will fall short when they actually have to purposefully weave him into the narrative, so no worries there.

At least he'll be in the narrative. Our boy will be motionless during Infinity War!

I can't see it?

This post my friend.

@Repulsor Blast and @Kingdork Does Thanos look any different in his mid-credits scene than in GOTG?

More specifically:

- In GOTG the blue on his armour seemed to have been replaced with a brown colour, but the Hot Toys Thanos figure seemed to have the blue and gold traditional armour, so: Is Thanos' armour like Hot Toys or like GOTG?

- Is he standing in the teaser, and if so, how big does he look? Hulk size, Thor size, bigger than both, etc.?

This might have been answered, I can't remember. What does Vision do with the hammer exactly? How long does he have it for? And how does he give it back to Thor?

Sucks that Quicksilver dies...but...I guess we'll see how his death turns out and how it affects Wanda...should be interesting

He just hands it to Thor in the Tower before they get ready for the climax. Like "we must get ready... There you go"

Then he throws it once at Ultron at one point.

How does Wanda react to her brother's death?
