Basically Cho has this machine which creates synthetic tissue. Ultron controls her using the mind gem to create a body she infuses it with vibranium then Ultron puts in the mind stone. He starts to upload but Wanda reads Ultrons base conscious through 'Vision' which she can't do with Ultron normally, she sees Ultron is planning to wipe out humanity. The Twins leave. On the truck Ultron continues to upload but Avengers attack. So some of Ultron base stuff is in 'Vision's' body. The Avengers capture it and take it to Stark. Who then decides to upload Jarvis. Cap and Tony fight over this, QS pulls the plug on Vision. Mini Avengers can't of battle. Thor arrives finishes booting up Vision. Vision steps out kind of crouches for 5 seconds looks at Thor jumps at him. Thor tosses him across the room. Vision suddenly stops looks outside for 5 seconds then turns around and starts speaking. Couple of minutes of talk where Vision say he is neither Ultron or Jarvis then they go off to fight Ultron.

So you see we really know nothing about how he truly came to be or how he works, Cho seems to have a machine that can create a synthetic body which can fly without propulsion and phase through objects.

We don't really know if Vision is a new AI or if he is a mix of Ultron and Jarvis. We don't really understand what the mind stone is really about, it appears to give Ultron consciousness, Jarvis says he detects code inside the stone so does it give Jarvis conscious or does the mix of Ultron give him conscious.

But he is still pretty awesome and the best new character imo.
Is that the gem at work? Can't speak on the rest till I see it, but doesn't his abilities come from the Stone?

Of course it's the stone and not some random human lol.

Probably is the gem, but that just means when Thanos takes it, Vision loses his cool powers.

On another point about Vision I don't really understand why Ultron wanted to be like that anyway and be a hope to humanity when he planned on wiping them out.

Well yeah, I assume Vision is dying come Infinity War.

The stone giving him his powers doesn't mean he necessarily loses them without it. It just depends on whether the stone has given him his powers for keeps in the way some other heroes work after their original 'incident', or if it's being continually used every time he flies or phases etc. I think he'd lose his beams though as that directly uses the stone.

I would think he could live without it, but it gives him his abilities. But come Infinity War, I would think Thanos would just rip his head off and take the stone.

Also I understand Vision lifting Mjolnir for it's just a cheap an easy way for the Avengers to trust him, but it was again mainly played for laughs. Not any kind of big heroic epic moment.

Well there are five movies until part 1.

Civil War is the main one. GotG2 I doubt Gunn would want him if he doesn't want Hulk. The others are solo origin movies for new characters. Don't think I'd want Vision to appear in their first films. And this was just an intro and he's not going to get a solo. Also I can't see him being the key player in Civil War which has to focus on Cap first being a Cap film and Iron Man as the chief antagonist. Hopefully he makes it till IW2 at least.

Perhaps he could appear in Thor: Ragnarok, given that he's good buddies with Thor. Then he sort of needs to die in IW Part 1 for Thanos to get the Mind Gem. But that gives him four movies to appear in, even ruling out a resurrection in the future.

Ragnarok. And I'd expect him to bite it in part 1. I would think the first film would end with Thanos having all the stones.

I guess potentially because he has the mind gem. But I'm guessing Ragnarok starts right after AoU, like when he leaves Thor 3 will start with him arriving cos he's not going to wait years to find out/ talk about his visions.

Whereas Vision will be busy with 'New' Avengers.

Actually it's going to be a bit tricky, you can't leave a gap in the timeline for when Thor 3 starts but then there will be timeline wise a big gap from Thor 3 to IW so if they do connect like it seems they will then there will probably be some problems there.

That seems initially logical, but then can you have 2 hours of Thanos just going to town with the IG.

We don't know exactly what is going down in Ragnarok. Thor may not know just yet that Loki is actually in charge of Asgard. Loki may not even be the primary antagonist of Ragnarok. Or the film may take place over a large period of time, hence why it doesn't come out until 2017 very shortly before IW.

Actually he is right, I found Natasha's desperateness appalling, Whedon could have been more subtle with their romance

No, what you mean is that you share the same opinion. Why is it so hard for people to get the subjectiveness of opinions?

I forgot about Ragnarok! Although I'd assumed there's be no cameos on that one with it all on Asgard. Maybe he has a big role in the first IW as Thanos hunts the mind gem. Otherwise I don't see where he's going to get much to do apart from as a secondary guy in Civil War. He was great here but only came in at the end. Oh well guess it's better than them having gotten him wrong.

I'd love to see the Thanos Quest story adapted into a film. Imagine how epic it would be to follow Thanos' journey as he collects the Infinity Gems.

That would be good, it would be cool if that was IW1 but then you have the problem of what would the Avengers be doing, they surely wouldn't know about Thanos and only Thor and the Guardians would have the capabilities to track him down.

Ah, that's true. I wonder how they'll first meet Thanos. I'm guessing he might just reveal himself to them.

Getting the mind stone back, which he shouldn't have given away in the first place, will probably be the last stone he gets after he retrieves all the others. I still think Xandor will be destroyed as Thanos's first great evil act.

I think it depends on how they handle the stones together imo. I could see him using the IG to make the ultimate army.

I really hope we don't get to see Xandar getting attacked (again) or The Avengers fighting the Chitauri (again). I hope they'll find a way to make something different and new. AoU already felt like a retread of the first movie at points (especially in the climax).

Xandar getting attacked, and Xandar getting wiped out are totally different things. However I wouldn't be confident they'd show an entire planet being destroyed anyway.
