Sorry if this has been asked. But is anyone else under the impression that we got a look at what will be "Cap's team" in Civil War? That's what I took away from the end.

War Machine vs Iron Man bout 2? I'm digging it.

Civil War is shaping up to basically be Avengers 2.5.

So, I got the stuff I didn't care for in the movie off of my chest, let me dive into stuff that was of interest.

In Tony's
mind game, it seems when seeing the Avengers dead, he seemed to be particularly hit the hardest when he sees Cap dead. We know there is going to be some real serious beef between Tony and Steve in Civil War, so what do you all think the scene in AOU was about? Is it that Steve means more to Tony than what he wants to let on, or heck, even admit to himself?

I'm just really curious as to what will be the spark that sets it off. The tension has definitely been brewing since TA, but what sets it in motion? Glad we don't have to wait to terribly long!

Man! From this point on we're going to be getting a steady stream of Marvel, DC, and Star Wars. I know this will, at least at first, be an awesome thing to deal with.

Why make Ultron if they already have an A.I. Called Jarvis???

They were all shocked that Stark made A.I. for first time....ummm Jarvis is an A.I.

I guess he wanted an AI that totally thought for itself?

Although I don't see how anyone wouldn't see that'd be a terrible idea?

You know this is the spoilers thread. You don't need to put things in spoiler tags.

Ha ha! I've seen a lot of these in the spoiler section and it's had me second guess not putting them in. Did I miss something?

To what was brought up in said spoiler tags, whenever it comes to villains and heroes in comics, the arch villains are always the ones that the hero sees a bit of himself in, though often twisted. It's like looking into that parallel universe of what could have been if our hero's choices were just a bit different. And from that comes pity and maybe a little respect.

Though it's hard to consider either Tony or Cap as villains (especially Cap, though he was more of the 'hero' in the Civil War run, or at least in my opinion), I think Tony understands and respects Cap's point of view even when he doesn't agree. Both became heroes through science and technology and both are very much leaders. There's that line from Tony in the movie that goes a little something like, "Cap's the leader, I'm just the one who pays for everything and makes everyone look cool." You can hear that tension with the leadership, but at the same time Tony accepts it.

I don't know... my few cents.

Tony's dream sequence seemed like a flash-forward to Infinity War to me. It looked like the place where they will fight Thanos. Beyond that I don't know what meaning it has.

I think all of them are flash forwards since Thor's was proved to predict the future. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them come true in IW. Black Widow is sent to a time loop to watch her graduation. Thor is sent to a reality where Ragnarok isn't stopped. Stark is sent to a reality where he failed. Cap is sent to a reality where he never was frozen.

Jarvis was a U.I. (Intelligent User Interface), not a fully sentient A.I. They actually mention this in the film, which I only caught on 2nd viewing. But I think the implication in his re-emergence at the end of Act 2 was that he had evolved, and may have become something closer to an actual A.I. than even Tony had realized, which was why he decided he might be a match for Ultron and wanted to put him in the Vision body.

I just wonder though, will Cap actually fight Tony in the end. He doesn't mind a good debate amongst those he is friends with, but we see what happens when he is going toe to toe with a friend, even one who is on the wrong path, like with Bucky.

Anyone else think Thanos was influencing Ultron? It's pretty much implied with Thor saying some is playing the Avengers like pawns.

Nah he was totally just talking about this guy.

Look into those eyes. That is the face of evil.

He wasn't above swinging at Stark to stop the creation of the Vision. So, I imagine he will give Stark a chance to walk away. He won't. FIGHT!

They pretty much have to have at least one big fight in CW. After all isn't that what the hype is promising us? If you didn't you'd have some mighty disappointed people among both fans and the GA.

But the big question is going to be, who will win? Tony seems to be the surefire winner, being in a stronger suit, being more intelligent than Steve, but then again, one being highly intelligent doesn't make one smart enough to come up with a battle plan. Case in point, Tony may be smart enough to make a robot using the sceptor and infinity stone, but neither he nor Banner seem to be smart enough to realize that maybe they shouldn't be messing with stuff, like Thor said, they know nothing about. I just can't believe Tony and Banner would be so stupid as to experiment on an alien device like that with no thought of the consequences.

I think CA going up against Ultron and surviving reasonably well shows we're being told he'll be able to stand up to Iron Man in a fight.
I don't necessarily believe this should be the case though. IM's Mk3 armour stood up to a tank shell. Don't try tell me CA can throw his shield (or a punch) harder than that.

Ultron should have decimated him in the fight. Or if not, CA shouldn't have been able to even rock Ultron. And that's not an insult to CA, that's what Ultron should have been like.

Strength wise would that be a fair fight though?

I mean they do seem to be depicting Cap as stronger and stronger seemingly every movie, I mean he went from sending a punching bag flying, to sending an entire motor-cycle flying.

Just came back from the movie

Give it 8/10

Vision was just fantastic, dammit they nailed him

Didnt expect him to lift Mjolnir, that was cool

A few LOL worthy moments, my favorite ones being IM knocking out Hulk for good, and Stark telling Banner HE would help him put Jarvis into Vision's body

I didnt think the scepter would contain an infinity stone that would be that yellow thingy in Vision'S head

They threw a curve ball regarding Ultron's plan with vibranium; I thought he would use it to become invincible; that was a little disappointing tbh, I wanted to see how Avengers would beat a Vibranium made Ultron, especially with that scene of what looked like Ultron coating himself with it; that wasn't in the movie

And what happened to that shot of Tchalla's bodyguard; it didn't make the final cut

By the way, i really liked that scene early in the movie with SW dissapearing behind that door; that was creepy and cool
