Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 confirmed. What do you want to see in the next season

In the end, I just want to be surprised again as I was when Ward was revealed to be Hydra .

I've been reading these -what i would like to see posts.

Some of them have desires that even if the show wanted to do them-there is no way a tv show has the budget to do this.

Cameos of the big name stars is one thing-talking and doing nothing else for 30 seconds is one thing-but having an actual arc-come on.

Well, they surprised us with the second half of the season,
Maybe they can do it again.
And I do not care if it was planned all along or part of some elaborate course correction.
It has been GREAT.
So, I have faith in AOS.

I think it was planned-however that Ward would be the traitor maybe not!

I'm Watching house of Cards in these days and, I think, a little of big policy miss in the show. With the cyberteck affaire a little of "adult storyline" it's been added: Policy, Lobby, technology are source of pattern for the "younglings" of this show, something that give a little landscape of the marvel universe that is not made only of super heroes and super villains.

I am hoping for longisch scripted arcs as opposed to a monster of the week storytelling. The last weeks have been so much better for having a continuing story in them. Ongoing themes for the next season could be:

- Coulson struggling to reinstate/reinvent the Agency, finding funding, a base of operations and political allies.
- Skye and properly explaining her parentage as the mystery of the season.
- Quinn as the big bad (with a political subplot)
- Fitz and Simmons doing their thing with a personalised episode each.
- May vs. Ward. Going on a limb here, I assume Ward will become a free agent / frenemy, and May could be a good foil for him (both specialists, slept together, and May is the most practical one on the team so she might be inclined to sometimes collaborate together in order to win).
-Tripplett can die in the finale. An unpopular opinion, but outside of balancing political correctness I just can´t see what he is supposed to bring to the show. I´d rather they develop May than have 2 underdeveloped specialists.

-Coulson trying to reinstate SHIELD and being its new director.
-Coulson's ideals and ways of doing things being challenged on multiple occasions.
-The mystery behind Skye's parentage and backstory.
-After killing Garrett, Ward becomes a fugitive with the team trying to track him down.
-Assuming it doesn't happen this season, the mystery/origin of the blue alien being revealed (still betting it's a Kree).
-May's past revealed.
-More development and depth for Triplett.
-Mike Peterson freed and becoming a hero.
-No Fitz/Simmons/Triplett love triangle.
-Preferably no Fitz/Simmons romance. It's too cliche IMO.

Kill off either Fitz or Simmons. Preferably Fitz, but I'd be fine with either.
Don't bring on a new character to replace the one killed.

In season 2 I'd like to see the following

more Maria Hill

more Nick Fury

Hawkeye in a 2 parter episode appearance

Tony Stark appearance

SHIELD being rebuilt by Coulson and the team

Fitz/Simmons romance

Coulson/May romance

...But not because of the ejected pod, please.

As soon as they splashed down, I automatically started thinking of scenarios where one of them has to sacrifice themselves so the other can survive. Probably Fitz choosing himself to die, and just before he does, he finally tells Simmons that he loves her, giving that as the reason for his sacrifice.

Although that would make a Ward redemption damn near impossible.

Edit: Also they are repeatedly reminding us that Trip has some tech know-how as well. Firstly to provide Fitz an adversary but also, possiblly, as a replacement. That would leave Ward's spot open for Deathlok.

I'd like 1 season long arc as well as a few smaller 3 episode arcs. I want Skye to develop powers as well as adding another powered character to the team that is visually not human. Lose Tripp and have Fitz/Simmons becoming the masters of their fields as well as continuing to develop their romance . Last thing I'd like to see Coulson wear other things besides a friggin suit for each particular situation and wear the appropriate garb for each mission more often.

Ward is not redeemable
He has Murdered loyal agents people
Not returning to the fold

I've said this before in another thread

Bring

Baron Von Striker in to be a behind the scenes type villian leading up to Age of Ultron.

Some type of crossover with Agent Carter would be cool, if difficult. Given the 70 year time gap, any guest stars would have to be "identical grandchildren" or another Asgardian or other long-lived human looking alien.

What I want to see in AOS Season 2 (some are just wishful thinking):

> Nick Fury's pending War on Hydra (you know, the one where Falcon and Cap were invited graveside in CA:TWS to join in the fun.)

> Ian Quinn - Director of HAMMER: let's see him be contracted by the US Govt, with his Deathloks, to run a (covertly evil) operation to protect us all from super threats, a la Norman Osborne-like, since we can't use the Spidey-verse major elements or players, but surely HAMMER must be fair game for MCU.

> ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. Carol Danvers introduction / Ms Marvel origin
2. ANY Avenger cameos
3. Team 616 visits Wakanda
4. SHIELD Lawyer - Jennifer Walters intro / She-Hulk origin
5. SHIELD Agent - Mockingbird intro
6. SHIELD Agent - Spider-Woman intro
7. SWORD
8. DEFENDERS cross-over
9. Especially AIM and Hydra, but also Hand, Ten Rings, etc causing problems.
10. Add Akela Amador to Team 616

Maybe Professor Elliot Randolph can show up in Agent Carter, then.

Never thought of that Seahammer.. thats a good suggestion.. i want atleast one of the Howling Commando to be alive in the present after having taken some superserum/infinity formula/GH? .. we could see him in agent carter on the verge of dying, and then have a AoS episode where he turns up alive and in hiding..

I'm still hoping that they use the 616 version of the Original Nick Fury being the MCU's Nick Fury's dad. THEN we can have Sgt. Fury of the Howling Commandos in the Agent Carter series

S.W.O.R.D.

elaboration on the aliens

Have Maria Hill as a semi-regular.(I honestly don't know what they're planning with the character.Stark's secretary?Seems like a role way out of character for her.)

I'm not gonna make any pipe dreams over RDJ,Evans or Hemsworth & Hiddleston being in the show, but for the love of all that's Holy,I better get my dream of Mark Valley as Clay Quarterman before this series is done!!!!!:argh:

I hope Ward isn't killed off.I don't need him to rejoin the team, but I'd like to see his complex "loyalty" tested in the future.

I'd rather Garrett live to return again.

It'll be nice to see more C/D listers as hero/villans in the show.

Hopefully more Deathlok and his continued transformation to his comic look.

Do something positive with Tripplett. They've tried some semi-interesting backstory with his family ties. But he still comes off as a mildly blander version of pre-Hydra Ward.

Are you kidding. He's ten times more interesting than "good Ward" ever was.

More villain roles of the quality of Bill Paxton's. His presence really raised the bar talent-wise. It made villains like Blackout, Blizzard, and Ian Quinn just look underwhelming by comparison.
