Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of SHIELD - Episode 2.20 - "Scars"

I think the connection with the post-Ultron attack is the fact that a lot of people will hold enhanced people like SW and QS responsible for what happened, which means the witch hunt (no pun intended) against Inhumans will get worse

And it would be cool to see Pietro as a symbol/martyr in both AOS and Civil War

or the hulks antics.

no sneek peek yet. Is there a presumption to be made in that.

No, we don't know that. He says to call out the avengers because he located the scepter. We get no more info on the Theta Protocol. :oldrazz:

Though, the way Coulson answered Hill asking if Theta was ready seemed to imply a connection. If it wasn't connected with the Avengers, why would Coulson feel the need to tell Hill to get the Avengers when asked about Theta?

Can't wait for this episode! It was also nice to see List there with Strucker at the starrt of AoU. Nice bit of connectivity. I bet he will pop up in this episode as well

He was also in the CA2 post credits

Come on Lincoln, you know you want to work for Coulson

I want AoS -Secret Warriors

The Spin-off can be Real SHIELD or SHIELD Academy

Absolutely, we know that the Iliad is going to be their headquarters so let's get on with it.

So they finally drop the Inhuman name-bomb.

So are the rest of the diviners in the Illyad's hold .Or did Fury weaponize the thing .I guess Gordo made an appearance on board.

And Phil did you really ask Skye if she was actually a person?

being a bit of a dick because one of his best mates made new friends, hate when that happens.

they Couslons group have enough information to know that inhumans have been around for a long time, extrapolate information they got from the kree and cal they could figure that out. When skye says they want to be left alone not sure what basis they have to doubt that.

That was intense. Damn, but I am going to hate to see this season end.

Skye said her ancient ancestors called themselves "inhumans". But ancient inhumans predate English. Maybe even Jiaying predates English. I guess maybe their ancient ancestors picked a name that means the same as "inhuman" means in English. But why would they pick such an ominous name? It's definitely not good for PR.

Well the Kree did literally implant their DNA "in humans" :woot:

Lol, the Asgardians spoke English in the intro of Thor: The Dark World

English probably has extraterrestrial origins in the MCU.

If you pay really close attention to background dialogue in Thor, it's implied that this is exactly the case.

Asgardians apparently know all languages ("One of US"), but that aside, as you sure that according to the story, they were speaking in English?
For example, if a movie is made in the US but the action takes place in ancient Rome, the actors (with very rare exceptions) speak in English, but it's implied that the characters are speaking in Latin.
Or is there some specific info that indicates they were meant to be speaking in English?

It's possible. How do they imply it?

But even if that is right, SHIELD agents probably don't know it.

Jaiying didn't become immortal until 1945. She can be maximally 100 years old.

We saw her touch a Diviner in 1945 .But we also saw Gordon touch a diviner in 2014 ,30 years after he went through the mists.Touching the thing does nothing to the Inhumans ,only going through the mist does .

So we have no idea when she went through herself, how old she is or where they were getting non-Diviner Terrigen Crystals for millenia when they had no Diviners.

Since she was afraid to touch the Diviner it's possible she wasn't even aware that she could survive the touching (remember how surprised she was when she saw the Kree language on the Diviner), which means she didn't know she was an Inhuman. I'd say she went through the mists shortly after the war.

I thought she was afraid to touch the Diviner because she didn't want to reveal to Hydra that she was special.
