Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of SHIELD - S02E12 - "Who You Really are"

people are too nitpicky with Bifrost FX. just be glad it wasn't a Lucky Charms style rainbow image.

I'm glad we got to see Sif again before Thor 3.

SO were the Kree responsible for the Inhumans in the comics? How does this square with the history of the Eternals and the Deviants?

I think he was taking it easy on the humans, but going full out on Sif.

I don't know why people are going on saying he could be Mar-Vell. He said straight out that his name is Vin-Tak, not Mar-vell.
like I said earlier, I can BARELY hear what's going on, I didn't HEAR that

I was kind of hoping Black Bolt would show up to tell Vin Tak that he would not be eliminating Skye.

If Black Bolt is telling Vin-Tak anything, they have bigger problems than Skye's earthquakes. Instead of cleaning up glass, they'll be repairing a building.

Definitely did not see that ending.

"The result of Kree experimentation on Homo Neanderthalensis using Terrigen Mist, The Inhumans are a race of super powered beings who live in isolation and do not trust humans."

I hope Mack turns out to be more than another traitor like Ward.

Great seeing Jaimie Alexander return as Lady Sif. Also nice to see Eddie McClintock show up and having him play a Kree was kind of awesome.

I don't think Mack is a traitor, but he is getting orders from someone. Speculation is that Stark may be that someone. Bobbi said they needed real backup, hmm. . .

the show is so much more interesting when it ties into the MCU at large in a major way rather than tangentially.

Yeah stark is real backup so good point.

What a great episode! Asguardians, Kree, Inhumans, and SHIELD...

An oblique reference to the Kree-Skrull War that caused the Kree to create genetic weapons; a direct reference to Hala; an undercover Kree using nitrogen to be disguised as a human; a box of Kree technology hidden in a cave (reminiscent of the cave where the Psyche-Magnitron was hidden)... so much goodness!

For those asking about the Inhumans being a weapon, and how the Kree or Eternals were involved:

At the beginning of the Kree-Skrull War, millions of years ago in Earth time, the alien Kree established a station on the planet Uranus, a strategic position between the Kree and Skrull empires. Through their work at this station, they discovered that sentient life on nearby Earth had genetic potential invested in it by the alien Celestials. Intrigued, the Kree began to experiment on Earth's then-primitive Homo Sapiens by splicing Arlok's DNA into Cro-Magnons. Arlok was an Eternal who was a follower of Uranos that had been dissected by the Kree.

Their goal was apparently twofold — to investigate possible ways of circumventing their own evolutionary stagnation, and to create a powerful mutant race of soldiers for use against the Skrulls. However, although their experiments were successful in creating a strain of humanity with extraordinary abilities, the Kree abandoned their experiment for reasons which are not yet clear.

It cant be Stark. Stark thinks Coulson is dead.

I wouldn't be surprised if its Ultron who is pulling the strings.

I'm pretty sure that the "war" he mentioned was the one with Xandar that had just ended at the start of GOTG.

Good episode, and I can't wait to see what looks like a Masters of Evil showing up next week!

My one question is: Why did Mac keep referencing alternate universes?

He would know all about that now, wouldn't he?:o

From an MCU standpoint, that could make sense. I suppose they might've been at it for the past 10,000 years.
