Regarding Koenig, I did find it pretty hard to believe that he let his guard down around Ward. I mean, the guy barely passes the lie detector test, and Koenig was already super paranoid. I'd love to find out the guy had something up his sleeve.

Well, he was a LMD in the comics at one point, so maybe people are on to something.

Can an LMD spill blood? Because that's what Keonig did when Skye discovered him.

The safe bet is on Eric Keonig coming back in new footage as new recorded message or surveillance footage.

Buuuuttt .... I have nothing to support this and it is only a half-assed theory expanding on the LMD thoughts that shares similarities with some other folks posted thoughts:

What if LMDs are real in the MCU (not really confirmed yet) and there is a series of Eric Keonigs designed to house keep the Fury private secret bases (yes I'm keeping in mind the TAHITI base and the TWS-Waterfall base and considering them separate) so that Fury does not have to deal with a lot of other "personalities" in this matter. What if Eric Keonig's Call-of-Duty-playing "brother" mentioned is another base's LMD? Or the real Agent Keonig is the one we will see in Ep 22? I am not real confident about this theory myself, because "Keonig" was/is only a Level 6 and really not the best mold to use to guard secret bunkers. Just spit-balling this idea for additional thoughts and mockery. :yay: Enjoy!

Just caught episode 19, I'm really liking Skye's development but I wish they hadn't went full heel with Ward, now he'll just be replaced by Triplet, especially after they revealed his Grandfather was a Howling Commando. :csad:

Nice to see Amy Acker. :hrt: She was back as her sweet self after being all quirky and badass as Root. :D

In general, all LMDs and most other classes of artificial humans in the comics (Silver-Age to Present), regardless of which villain or agency made them were usually described as very life-like even down to some producing blood and bodily waste in some cases to fool prison, medical examinations, etc and the like. Marvel had the Original Human Torch (robot) give a female British super-hero (Spitfire from the Invaders) a blood transfusion which gave her speed powers. What the Original Torch had running through his robo-veins was entirely blood-like but completely artificial. It was usually good story telling, if not good science. :cwink:

I dig the idea of [BLACKOUT]a small army of robot Patton Oswalts manning secret SHIELD bunkers all around the globe.[/BLACKOUT]

Would be one heck of a scene seeing a fleet of Oswalts descending on Ward.

"You did WHAT to Keonig #352???"

Article/interview with J.August Richards:

Prince George’s native Richards talks about Marvel, ‘Agents of SHIELD’ and Deathlok

A couple of quotes from the article:
Despite having a great relationship with Whedon, Richards said he still had to audition for the role of Mike Peterson for “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Richards said even the Joss Whedon All-Stars have to fit the part in Whedon’s eyes.

“One of the things I love about Joss is, while he is loyal to the actors he’s worked with in the past, he never gives handouts,” Richards said. “It’s always what’s right with the story. So I had to audition and it entailed me doing a lot of things that no one had ever seen me do — play a father … there were a lot of elements to the character that I didn’t necessarily do on ‘Angel.’”

-----------------

“I felt like I just had to play this guy because there’s a line in the pilot that was also in my audition where Mike says, ‘I could be, you know? A hero,’” Richards said. “That line just spoke to me so much because prior to doing ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,’ I was out of work for 18 months. I was going to audition after audition after audition and I wasn’t booking anything.

“There was one particular day in those 18 months where I was working on an audition and I was working on it so hard and I kind of zoomed out from myself for a second and I said, ‘Wow, you haven’t worked for so long, but you’re still throwing yourself into this 100 percent as if you just started.’ … So when I read the audition scene for Mike Peterson and he said, ‘I could be, you know? A hero,’ I just really understood that moment because I know what it feels like to have your back up against the wall and still believe in yourself so completely. Once I read that line, I really understood who the man was and from there it was just easy.”

Stan Lee:

“Sam Jackson can do the best angry, tough guy you could imagine and every time I see him in the movie he’s so quiet and soft and I’m waiting for him to get excited and yell at people and he never does. So I don’t know why they don’t make him more like I picture him being.”

And random found thing on Twiter :D

Somebody: "I think a One Shot would be a fitting place to start & then hopefully lead to more."
Drew Pearce: "But I am OBSESSED with Damage Control. Somehow I'll make it happen..."

i think it'd be great if Fitz were the clairvoyant. i doubt that anyone would have seen that coming.

No that would just be stupid. At this point they've had more than enough time to expose all Hydra agents. If they suddenly pull a "lol so and so was hydra too! Even though they had like 3 chances in the latest eps to join up with the rest and refused despite almost certain death being the result of refusing barring the last minute miraculous rescue they couldn't possibly have known was coming."

LOL twist rarely works well. It worked with Ward because it sort of made sense in hindsight and because he was revealed almost right away once Hydra came out. It won't work with anyone else. Not at this point.

“@Dweebowitz: @clarkgregg Do we ever find out what the alien inscriptions on the wall were when Phil was "drifting?" Yes.

Kree would seem to be the most likely. A map for Earth.
I agree Kree seems likely, but I'm not sold on the map idea (though it could be). Fortunately, we should find out soon!
