Wow amazing episode, everything I could have asked for an more. Get Skye stuff as well as May and Ward. The Coulson stuff was perfect and freaky, answered the stuff they've been teasing and allowing it to now branch off into new paths. Looks like the same will hopefully be done with Skye next week. The Mike stuff will be interesting since he's inevitably going to have to face the team as a threat.

Still so much to see and the team finally seems to be cohesive and together, no more silly quarrels from here on out I hope, down to business of finding and destroying everything about Centipede.

Ultron is non-biological. Whatever technology was used to bring Coulson back, he's still human, or at the very least something non-synthetic.
Plus, it doesn't make sense that they'd link a decidedly good guy character like Coulson and make him the evil that wants to destroy all humans and will fight the Avengers in A2.
He could be turned technological.

Maybe what's happening to Coulson will turn him insane/evil.

I'd hate to see Coulson turn evil. Especially after all of this.
I dont imagine that will happen.

I think mind altering was mostly to prevent Phil from having to relive the surgery and pain.
I don't see him turning evil, I see him having a chip on his shoulder toward Fury tho

They didnt really answer how he came back though. He was dead. They screwed with his brain so he wouldn't remember for how long. But we don't know how Fury brought him back from the dead beyond "moving heaven and earth".

This show is just frustrating. The Shield on this show seems so different from the ones in the movies. It certainly doesn't feel like a serious organization like the one in the Cap 2 trailer.

then in he show he moved Coulson to Asgard :oldrazz:
lol I still don't think he didn't leave our section of the world tree.
THINK about what Odin said to Thor when they were examining Jane for example.

it's the "procedures" that have me asking questions. WHAT procedure would need Phil to be AWAKE for them to need to do it?
or MAYBE it WAS really an LMD BODY but Phil's BRAIN being placed into the LMD.

It answered enough to satisfy me and keep me wanting more. I didn't want they mystery to be fully solved in one episode, where's the fun in that?

No, they did not answer the questions surrounding Coulson's resurrection as the producers and writers had promised. They gave very vague details ("the seventh operation", the brain manipulation, moving heaven and earth) but before the episode aired they repeatedly said that everything would be explained. Instead, they just reeled out more rope to string the audience along.

It was well-done but not well-played. That mystery needed to be wrapped up instead of strung out.

I disagree. I think giving out all of the details in this episode would have been too much too soon.

We also thought Ben Kingsley was the Mandarin.

He'll be back :P

Remember we saw Space? In Coulson's eyes.

I think it definitely has to do with some type of alien tech, or something.

Also, The Mandarin is the Clairvoyant. "He can see into the president", that's what the Mandarin was trying to do in Iron man 3, wasn't it?? He was trying to take over the president's position, wasn't he?

The Clairvoyant, is the Mandarin. I bet he'll be back.

I hope so. It'd be great to see Guy Pierce guest star on this show. :o

I'm more excited to see Stan Lee.

So when will we know who the two new agents are going to be?

Too soon? We're eleven episodes into the season and Coulson's death has been mentioned in each installment. The writers and producers gave multiple interviews promising that the mystery of Coulson's resurrection would be explained in tonight's episode. Had they not run around trumpeting that no one would have expected to get the full details. It would have been better had they kept silent instead of over-hyping a reveal that wasn't really a reveal.

His resurrection was explained tonight though. They never said it would be an over and done with story. We saw what happened to him, now we get to find out why/how it happened to him.

How was his resurrection explained in any way that you didn't surmise beforehand?

He was dead...and through technology, he was brought back. You didn't know that already?

Now, the mystery could be where was his "soul" for a week (and why his body didnt decompose)...but honestly, I doubt very many care enough to be strung along further on the same mystery. When a tv show promises answers and doesnt deliver, the public's patience can be strained. Instead of knocking people's socks off tonight (which was needed) it was yet another dropped ball.
