Since getting my HD TV, I've played God of War, MGS3, Ratchet and Clank 2 and some other stuff on my PS3...

only nowadays, when I select any of these games (any of my PS2 games at all for that matter) the screen just goes black and flickers different shades of black every minute or so. Any reason its started doing that? Seeing as I still have my PS2, I don't mind too much, but I've got data on GoW and MGS3 I'd like to get back to.

    What's wrong? :(

I'm sure it's your fault somehow.

    My fault or his fault?
Cause I think it's your fault.

I'm pretty sure that it's Blas' fault. Mostly because I just enjoy blaming foreigners.

That settles it. Our scientific analysis has proven beyond all doubt that foreigners have destroyed the PS3's ability to play PS2 games.

    The PS3 came from America.

Oh, so that's why it's failing.
    Totally logical now.

Haven't you heard? It's only failing now. If we give it a vague and undetermined amount of time, it'll eventually blow our socks off.

How does one go about that?

And I can't believe I ask one question and it takes like a gazillion posts for anyone to even attempt to be helpful.

    You people SUCK.

    Woah woah, I was helpful.

I don't know if your cables have this or not, but is there a little selector switch anywhere that will have your PS3 put out a SD signal instead of an HD signal? I think the PS3 is emulator based now, so it might be having some trouble trying to upscale the images.

Nope. :( But I think I could just use a scart cable and but the PS3 back in SD, that might work.

As I'm sure you blame Krazy Kojima for all the atrocities and crimes he committed in the name of gaming with his AWFUL MGS series. :o

I want to go ahead and take this opportunity to say that I am 100% certain that Metal Gear Solid 4 will come to the Xbox 360.

I won't, cause if it does, it won't be until well after I've got/beaten the game 500 times and then I'll be like "meh".

I hope Hippie does go though.
