Well it's been said that Sue is the most powerful member of the team. I've read that a few times in the comics, so I have no problem with the statement.

SS, Sue and Reed in a love traingle? WTF? Now I can see if they said Namor, but SS? What in the phuck is Marvel allowing Fox to do? Look I have no problem with the story being adapted to fit a movie and I wouldn't mind if it were the Thing, Alcia and SS, cause in the comics Alicia and the Sufer did have something going on for a brief period, but Sue?

I'm not sure what to think about this news. I saw the Xmen and loved it and despite the changes to the Phoenix story it still worked for me, but the direction FOX is going with the SS sounds questionable. It's all really a moot point because FOX is going to butcher and do what they want to these characters because they think that the box office these films made has proved they are right and the fans are wrong and gives them more reason to change shyt about the characters. Making changes to some of the Xmen is needed to adapt for a film, because there is so much backstory and to much convuluted storylines, but at least it worked out for the most part, but what is going on with the FF. Their backstory is simple and not bogged down with so much baggage despite being around for decades. I see NO REASON WHAT SO EVER ro put a love triangle between Reed and Sue, especially with the SS.

Galctus and the Surfer has to be done right or not at all in my book. I don't see it working any other way. Yeah the Phoenix worked out for the most part because it was easier to adapt in my opinion. I can't really find the words to expalin the difference on why the Phoxie can be made more adaptable for a movie as opposed to galactus. YOU CAN NOT ALTER GALACTUS OR WATER HIM DOWN. Galactus is what he is, and should be left alone if FOX isn't going to do him right. I'm scared that Galactus may end up being some guy from Earth who got his powers in some accident and picked some other guy on earth to be his servant.

The SS love triangle makes me wonder if they are gonna give the SS the ability to morph in and out of his silver state like Johnny does so that they can cast a hunk for Sue to be attracted to

They say alot of things. They've at times said Ben was the most powerful member. My point is, why not simply have them as equal? What does it do other than make for some BS feminist pandering to have Sue stand out as most powerful? Anyway- you know that- she can't contain the torch's flame at full power. And the Thing pounding away at her force field (Unless she can cut off his oxygen) would knock her out. And again, Reed, by way of his mind is more dangerous than any of them. So she isn't the most powerful.

I don't want the Surfer to be a bad guy.

The difference is that in the case of the Phoenix, they made it an Earthbound force by saying it was born in Jean. But with Galactus, there's no binding him to Earth (Yes, there ARE ways to say Galactus is an Earthborn threat BUT IT WILL SUCK). Galactus MUST BE a creature of the cosmos, not only to present him in his most grand form, but also in order to elevate the FF to the iconic status they've reached in the comic world. They need to face a threat that powerful (Although they should have already faced Doom with the Laverian empire behind him, Namor with his Atlantean Legions and Moleman with his subterranean creatures).

Now, it's as likely that, as with Doom, some pinhead exec from Fox will tell us what we as the public will and will not buy, so Galactus will probably lose his name and become some "energy force" charged in some dorky human, and the Surfer will literally be a beach bum surfer guy that Galactus transforms to assist him.

I think the Surfer love triangle could be done well. Technically it should be between Ben/Alicia and Surfer, but since they can't use Namor in these movies, as he's the property of Sony, I can see why they made the change.

As far as, "he's a little bad a little good," he's not bad per say, he's finding some food for his master. Sue would obviously remind him of Shalla-Bal, and his homeworld. I could even see them doing a flashback scene of Surfer as Norin Radd, with Alba playing Shalla-Bal in her natural brown hair.

Sue is the most powerful, she's really the only one that can stop the other three.

I'm not so sure what to make of, "I kinda can do the other 3 powers". Like someone else said, I hope they don't turn her into Super Skrull.

I hope Doom will be in this movie. The most logical thing would be to have him try to steal the surfers cosmic power like he did in the books. It would be easy to do, since from the first film we know Doom has the ability to absorb energy. He could drain the Surfer's power to fight the FF, then Sufer gets back his power and helps the others fight Doom.

Actually, I believe Universal has the film rights to Namor.

Like I said, he's bad in the sense that he's trying to give the earth to Galactus to feed off of, thereby killing all of it's inhabitants.

It's not a point of her having say. As you said, the studio is pushing the biggest name. and this neither serves that film, the story or the characters. They're basically say, screw the story- people think Jess is pretty, so let's shove her down their throats.

The reason Jessica has been the most vocal, is she's the one that's at all the red carpet events for the media. You don't see Ioan, Michael or Chris attending any of those things.

We'll have to see what this statement means.

Is Sue fickle ? Wasn't this issue settled at the end of the movie ? What does the SS bring that could drag her away from Reed ? Power ? Wealth ? The universe ?

He isn't a villian and neither is Galactus. Galactus is a force of nature, he does what he does to survive. That's why Doom has to be in this movie.

9 and a half months from opening date they begin filming ? They couldn't finish the effects for the 1st film in the time alloted, now it appears that they will have even less time, with more effects, because they have included the SS. If indeed they are doing some outside or non essential shooting, then that will be a positive. And she said "I" start August the 28th, not that they begin filming Aug. 28th. Mabey she is speaking for herself, and they will start with the other actors before that. Lets hope that they are not going to begin filming from the start on Aug. 28th.
