Alice in Wonderland 2

I honestly don't think it will. Had Rickman passed shortly after completing work on Deathly Hallows, it would definitely spike interest.

Deathly Hallows would have been a box office juggernaut regardless. I honestly can't gauge how "Through the Looking Glass" will do. On the one hand, the first one was a massive success, but it was also riding on the rising popularity of 3D after "Avatar" and Johnny Depp was still a big box office draw. It's not like it's some well-regarded modern day classic and it has been six years so it's not fresh in people's minds either. This could easily underperform.

I'm not personally hyped for it, and I haven't seen or heard from anyone who was.

I think Disney will do solid numbers for sure. They are pretty much the only ones putting out live action films in summer geared to younger girls and their families. The name and brand is already established, and there ain't much else out there in terms of films that want that same demo.

So is the Queen of Hearts still the villain or is she in true sequel fashion teaming up with the good guys?

****. I really like all these trailers. I might actually see this.

Stil not a fan of Depps Hatter, but overall looks like a pretty trippy flick.

#ThroughtheLookingGlass: Esme kissing me goodbye as I went to see Disney Alice 2 for the first time (it's wonderful). Thanks Disney and Suzanne Todd for a great party and another great movie!

I got a photo next to her character poster today when I saw Civil War, too. :cwink:

So this out tomorrow as well. What's the consensus?

If this movie doesn't do well it may might be a sign for things to come for Avatar 2. Not that it'll bomb but for the buzz, and sequels that no one asked for (this, Huntsman 2).

Nope.

Good thing Disney has a few billion dollar hits already. Because this one seems to be on its way to lose quite a bit of money.

Alice has bad thursday night previews and now projections have decresed.it doesn't help
matters now depp has a abuse scandal on top of fact his star power has fallen since
2010.

This film may be the 2016 version of tomorrowland for disney.but, don't cry for them since they have other films to make up for it.

They have Nemo in 3 weeks. They will be just fine. :funny:

I knew this ****show was going to fall far below the first film. I am so sick of Johnny Depp's clown show.
