sad to see Nolan's career tank like this, he really did have great potential as a director
I guess next he'll be co-directing a low-budget suspense thriller with M Night Shyamalan
Isn't Cameron pretty big into documentary stuff? Heck, I think he is way more interested in deep sea diving than filmmaking these days.
Glad to see Nolan do something small. Hopefully the short documentary inspires him to go back to his roots. Something more on the scale of The Prestige would be nice to see.
I would want to see Nolan pull a Barry Lyndon and explore the 18th century.
Ya hit the nail on the head. A period thing like Michael Mann's Last of the Mohicans, something that might seem out of his wheelhouse but carries with it the elements typical of his whole body of work.
Course, he kind of already did that with The Prestige. And in a lot of ways Nolan isn't the kind of director to repeat himself.

What? Are you really serious here? Nolan career is at it's peak. Every single movie of his, has been both a box-office and critical success. (except Memento and Insomnia, which were only critical success, but this is reasonable, since it was the start of Nolan's career). He is one of Hollywood's most famous and original directors at the moment.
Is Nolan currently working on any movies?
Memento had a $9 million budget and made almost $40 million worldwide. Insomnia had a $46 million budget and made over $113 million worldwide. And these movies probably made a lot more on DVD/Blu-ray sales and rentals after Nolan had his big breakthrough...
The Prestige 2: Attack of the Clones
It's time to accept the times, folks. Nolan's career has tanked. He'll be lucky to be offered the chance to direct The Prestige 2: Attack of the Clones. DTV, of course.
I think the dude was being sarcastic. You guys are crying more than BvS board regulars.

I guess I missed when Nolan's career tanked....
Happy birthday to Nolan.
