I think I'll like Jesse. I could see him playing a mix of the cold-hearted corporate billionaire out for himself Lex and the original smartest man in the world Lex. A cold yet charming CEO who has risen to the top through a combination of his own intelligence and cunning and a policy mercilessly destroying anyone and anything in his way with calculated precision. His intimidation isn't physical. The long line of obstacles and people he's left broken behind him should be frightening enough.

A text book sociopath that just so happens to have a 9th Level intellect. Exactly.

Oh lordy lord...

Dude...if I say it, it is. ;)

Jett trying to hold on to any shred of relevancy he may have left? I wouldn't object getting a teaser by December, but I don't believe a shred of this.

At least he doesn't hate things he's never seen.

While I highly doubt Doomsday has any part in this movie, there will most certainly be a physical threat for Superman/Batman to take on together in the end. It's not going to be the two greatest superheroes teaming up to beat up a skinny bald guy.

I don't hate something I haven't seen. I hate the casting which I think is boarder line bad. I don't like the fact there going straight to team up movies and not doing some solo movies first. I'm flat out tired of Batman period.

I know right. It's as if people have forgotten all the other things he said were in the film like WW being Kryptonian. And when we said that we would have a pic of the batsuit months before it's actual debut

Has Jett got a scoop right in like the past 5 years?

His battle percentage in scoops is about the same as Eh Maybe's who's last DC scoop he got right was Ledger as Joker.

Jett doesn't do scoops, hasn't done them for years.

Don't see it then.

Profoundly easy solution.

But as was said before, this news just happens to come out after the Avengers trailer? Don't believe it, sorry.

No one is forcing you to watch it. Your energy is better spent on movies you're excited about.

He seems to make these guesses in the hope of being proven right. And when it doesn't eventuate, it was apparently all a big prank he was pulling. :funny:

He's a troll and raging Marvel fanboy period. He has nothing to add to this thread.
I don't know him well enough to say that but I'm pretty confident he'll end up watching BvS regardless. Curiosity tends to win the battle over blind hostility.

You don't have to not see something to not like it.

For example, Michael Bay's Transformers sequels. We know they are ****. I haven't see 4 but I could tell by the ads its ****.

Roberto Orci directing Star Trek 3 will be **** since he hasn't directed a damn thing in his life and doesn't have Abrams to bail him out of his **** writing.

I can name more.

Those examples do not equate to what we were discussing at all. We have never seen Jesse as Lex Luthor. There's no precedence for it. Therefore, we can't know it's **** and it's hard to dislike his Luthor the casting decision. Not only have we not seen commercials featuring him as Lex, but we haven't even seen a still photo.

And thankfully, Jesse Eisenberg has acted before -- many times in his life.

I know enough about him to say it. And of course he is going to see the film, he has to come back here to talk about how much he hated it.

Lex as played by Jesse COULD underwhelm us all. Gal as WW COULD be as sub-optimal as it gets... But our information is limited at this time. Grand absolutist pronouncements seem like putting the cart before the horse.

If there is evidence to support someone not liking a particular aspect of a film that I don't have a problem with, people are allowed to be skeptical. Not seeing someone as a particular character however doesn't fit into that same frame, especially if said actor has already proven himself before. I can't see Christian Bale as Steve Jobs for instance, not against his casting however, just can't see it.

Michael1975, taking up where Z-target and Kevin Smith left off. Yep we were dying to get a troll replacement surgery.

You'd think Michael Keaton, Heath Ledger, Daniel Craig, and Anne Hathaway have taught everyone that an unlikely casting choice might actually do a good job.

do you think we could see the construction of the watchtower? or a newly built Hall of Justice at the BvS? It would be a great setup for JL
