They are both fantastic trilogies, though. t:

I'd actually like DC to take a more mythological, weighty (note: does not mean overly serious or pretentious) approach to the DCCU in the vein of LOTR, compared to the hearty, fun tone of the MCU. With characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, etc, I think that's definitely the way to go. It would also set them apart from the other comic franchises.

People would definitely care if the plot of the JL movie is overly similar to the plot of the Avengers movie.Making Darkseid the main villain has the risk of making the JL movies overtly similar in plot to the Avengers movie.

The audience didn't give a damn, when the two billionaire superheroes flew pass each other with a bomb.

Did MOS shoot in IMAX? I know it was post converted into 3D like Star Trek Into Darkness was (considering both shot on Film).

As much as i dig Darkseid and Brainiac: eventually i want to see them in this universe too. I'm sick of alien invasions. I wish DC would just use the first Justice League as a way to say "We don't want to do anything like Marvel right now, we don't want the League going up against a single God, a single alien, a single robot. It's been done to death. X-Men are doing it soon, Marvel has done it, and will continue to do that formula. Maybe we will need to take the story into that direction sometime soon, but for this first Justice League movie, we're going to do a team of heroes versus a team of villains. Earth bound threat. For this story we don't need Green Lantern. We don't need Martian Manhunter. We don't even need Superman to fly out into space even though we know he has those capabilities."

Ill get excited for a Batman movie when the time comes, same for when Darkseid shows up. But for right now, im not excited for anything post-JL (post-2017). I'm super stoked for the next 4 films, over the next 3 years. But after that, it's all bonus. I would have received everything i ever wanted to see in comic book movies (with the exception of a proper friggin Venom/Carnage/Spider-Man movie!!).

Sure ill be curious to see how they pull off an Aquaman movie, and i want to see a new Jim Gordon. But maybe 'excitement' is not the word. 'Curiosity' is. Im straight-up EXCITED for these next 4 movies, if they do them correctly.

Like most of you, cannot wait for this movie! So excited for DC movies coming up...I mean can you believe the films we are getting!??! ahhhhhhhhhh

Was just thinking of moments in the JL cartoon that would be amazing on the big screen and I think the cinema would EXPLODE if that scene where Batman confronts Clayface, and Clayface says something like "didn't think I'd show up without reinforcements did you?"

Batman: "Wish I'd thought of that"

Superman appears behind him....

Batman: "Oh wait.....I did" with the smirk..........my godddddddddddd......too much brilliance!

Referring to what Nolan said earlier about post movie credits, I remember I wrote in the comingsoon.net comment section once a long time ago on what I thought MOS post credit scene could of gone like to introduce Batman....something similar to seeing back of a chair, surrounded by monitors showing Superman in various headlines...being watched by Batman....then focusing on Alfred feet walking into the BatCave, looking at all the screens and saying "Looks like you have competition now sir". (If we knew back then Affleck was playing Batman maybe camera could focus on him and then blackness). Could be the start of the BVS movie with the title coming up after.

Anyway I have been rambling!! Looking forward to conversing with you guys . Rainy London says hello
