Yea the JL Mortal cast as a whole sucked but Common as GL was like that one spot that made you go "that's not bad. That's pretty awesome."

They should bring him back.

I wouldn't be pissed as long as John has the Abin Sur origin and as long as he has Hals relationship with Sinestro.

Hal is the lead character of the universe, John was never meant to be that. So in order for him to work as that, there have to be some big big changes to his character so he can work as the lead. It can be done for sure, but the character could not be the John from the comics. John as is in the comics would not work at all as the lead character in a movie franchise. All the major relationships in that universe are between Hal and other people

I'm open to John being used, just so long as he is a John/Hal amalgamation. That has a lot of potential if they can take the best aspects from both characters and combine them

I reall do like John as a character, and id be happy with this casting choice if it pans out

At this point I'm just so ready for a casting choice already. We know the entire justice league cast except for GL and it's annoying.

John or Hal... I don't care. I'd be good with Kyle too
