Routh is a congenial screen presence, with a good sense of humor about himself, and talented enough to pull off roles like the Atom.

The most consistently enjoyable thing about season 3 of Arrow thus far has been Routh's Ray Palmer.

Routh is becoming my favourite part of Arrow. Everytime he's on screen I'm hooked. He is refreshing piece of comedy that Arrow needs.

EDIT
@TNN22 This

I actually quite liked him in the small part in Scott Pilgrim that he had.

Eh. I've liked the Ra's stuff the most... not counting the Flash crossover, that is. :o

Palmer is only kind of okay thus far. Honestly this season hasn't done it for me like the second one did, but I did like this past episode, so there might be hope for the second half of the season.

so Michael Jai White is throwing his name in for John Stewart.

@TheAutocons: Michael Jai White says he loves DC & is looking into Green Lantern(John Stewart)!

Michael Jai White responds to @BitikoferAustin, after he said he should look into GL & saying he would kill it! pic.***********/euJQtRzdQW

Not that it matters now, but when WB wanted to make Justice League Mortal movie they made a huge mistake by not allowing Brandon Routh to be Superman and casting DJ Cotrona instead.

Good thing that that movie project got cancelled.

You know it's funny that he's playing a combination of Ray Palmer/ Ted Kord on Arrow.

When Edgar Wright was announced for Ant Man I hoped he'd use Routh as Hank Pym (Who in the comics is basically a combination of Palmer/Kord).

Routh was hilarious in Scott Pilgrim.

I still want to see the costume designs for that film. They were apparently quite faithful to the comics.

How far did they get? Was it only concept art or fully realized costumes?

So, should we fire Gal while we're at it?

I would reserve judgment on her acting in this movie until we actually see her in action. I can't imagine Snyder hiring her if he thought she couldn't hack it. From what I've seen of Snyder's movies he appears to be pretty adept at casting the right people.

^ They were shut down like a week or two before filming I think. All the cast were here in Australia and "about to go", so I imagine it was all finalized. As far as the accuracy of the costumes, the only things I'd heard was that Superman was "very alien" and than Batman's involved "carbon fibre and pistons".

I'm desperate to see those costumes, too.

Wow - pistons?! Was it steampunk inspired?!

*Must resist Aaron Paul for Flash comment, must resist Aaron Paul for Flash comment, must resist Aaron Paul for Flash comment, must resist Aaron Paul for Flash comment, must resist Aaron Paul for Flash comment, must resist Aaron Paul for Flash comment*

This.

Everyone and everything else has been all over the place. Whereas he has been completely consistent with his characterization and ambitions.

They've done terrible things with Felicity this season. I loved how quirky and upbeat she was in the first session, but now all she does is cry all of the time. what are they thinking??

Anyone read this series?

I'm reading these titles nowadays, nice fun adventures.
