I think if Brainiac is creepier than Ultron he could make his own stamp. Especially if he's more serious and threatening.

Hopefully Brainiac will be more "cosmic" as a threat as a compared to Ultron. That alone makes a world of difference to me. Let me put it this way, in terms of threat, Ultron is Skynet, Brainiac is The Borg.

Also Brainiac will be of more experience. He will have already collected knowledge of other world's and destroyed them, previous to Earth. Brainiac must track down Kal-el as he was able to escape as the last son of Krypton, extract his information... and then level the Earth. Thus making that knowledge more valuable. Brainiac wants to be the last one, the only survivor of any world that he learns of and conquers.

I don't know... that version of Brainiac always reminded me of Jambi.

Maybe something like this, only without so much humanoid form. I like the idea of him being a physical manifestation of a program that takes over and and reshapes any tech it comes into contact with.

Who says we won't get Brainiac in a solo? At this point there's nothing but rumor (and fans that identify Brainiac as a JL enemy because of JLU) to suggest he's in JL Part One or Part 2.

They have two JLs coming out before the next Supes solo, I think that makes it likely. He's too big and classic to abstain from using, or to save until whenever MOS 2 happens.

I'm not expecting them to use Brainiac for any Justice League movie like most. The League has a ton of other villains they can use. Gut feeling says they save him for Superman himself

Next year will be a new chapter to the golden age of cbms.

BvS
Avengers3
Deadpool
Xmen Apocalypse
Suicide Squad

I agree and in terms of Thanos and Darkseid. Thanos is Voldemort and Darkseid is Sauron.

You consider Civil War as Avengers 3? So Infinity war is the fourth Avengers story? Kinda makes sense if Civil war is really what we think it is.

It's sad that people on here think that Braniac will be compared by the GA to Ultron and Darkseid will be compared to Thanos... It's sad because it's true.

Brainiac isn't always portrayed as a machine though so if they go with the Coluan version then he'll be nothing like Ultron.

I don't care what they call it, but that thang is Avengers 3. I can't wait.

Which would be the ideal way to go if they cast a recognizable actor.

So let's drop the most popular modern version cause they had Ultron. I mean no robotic looking characters exist besides Brainiac and Ultron in comic books. :o

Ultron was pretty forgettable as a villain. I doubt anyone outside of fanboys even remembers him come 2017

The MCU villain wise is crap so far. Not one memorable villain unless you count Loki.

EXACTLY.They can always use that versiin

They can also use the robotic version with Ultron having no impact on the use of it. Brainiac has been popularized in the AI to robotic form for like 15 years or something. yeeeeesh

BVS, calm down. Good lord. Robotic Brainiac isn't the only version of the character. It wasn't even the first version of the character.

dont know wht the problem with coluan braniac is

I'm not saying it HAS to be the robotic version. I'm saying if the reason for not doing it is because Ultron was used in AOU, and there is a "robotic similarity" that is rather superfluous reasoning.
