:funny:

Ah yes, you and Arms are seeing it earlier? I am genuinely happy for you guys. You... lucky bastards. :woot:

Which reminds me that I'll have to avoid this place during that time. You guys may not spoil it, but I'm sure there will be people who will.

Yeah, I'll be gone too a week or a couple of weeks before the film's premier....can't take any risks.

Anyone know where I can watch the trailer from comic con? As in, a leaked version. I wanna hear the crowds reaction to it

I was searching for the same thing earlier on Youtube, couldn't find anything. I guess even if someone recorded it, they figured it was no use uploading it since the official version was already online.

Should've asked him if the movie was good or not

So Grant Morrison isn't too happy with this movie's version of Wonder Woman apparently:

http://screenrant.com/grant-morrison-gal-gadot-wonder-woman-movie/
I don't think he was talking specifically about BvS. ScreenRant quoted him out of context (how surprising :whatever:).

N: One more thing I need to ask about is the status of Wonder Woman: Earth One for DC, which you are writing and Yanick Paquette is illustrating. She’s easily my favorite character, and I’m dying to see your interpretation of her. What’s the status of that graphic novel?
GM: It’s finished now and it’ll be coming out soon. I sat down and I thought, “I don’t want to do this warrior woman thing.” I can understand why they’re doing it, I get all that, but that’s not what [Wonder Woman creator] William Marston wanted, that’s not what he wanted at all! His original concept for Wonder Woman was an answer to comics that he thought were filled with images of blood-curdling masculinity, and you see the latest shots of Gal Gadot in the costume, and it’s all sword and shield and her snarling at the camera. Marston’s Diana was a doctor, a healer, a scientist. So I went back to those roots and just built it up again.

So instead of going with a title like "Morrison doesn't like 'warrior princess WW', they went with click-bait 'Morrison hates Gadot's WW'. :o

I love me some Grant Morrison.

I guess this isn't the first time that I've disagreed with Morrison. I absolutely prefer the warrior princess version of Wonder Woman.

I like a lot of Morrison's work, but I dropped reading his Superman because of how sick I was of the t-shirt thing. It's something that some might love, but it just goes to show that we have different tastes.

Hello everyone,

Long time lurker here, since a year before MOS came out. I enjoy reading everyone's speculations on what they think is going to happen. I will also add the I think MOS rocked, eat it haters.

But anyways after years of being a wall flower, I decided to take the plunge and start commenting because I am too hyped for BvS :)

I just wanted to say that I am throwing in my hat in with the posters who believe there is a clone of superman. In the scene right after Alfred say's "he is not our enemy" you see a clip of Lexcorp building under attack (or was something breaking out?) I ask because the scene right after that is inside Lexcorp and there are bullets and guns lying on the ground along with a deflated basketball (looks like it was shot). That basketball got me thinking did they have a clone in there that broke out? Like a kid superman?

This is just an opinion so please take it easy on me :)

P.S I hope Supes wipes the floor with Batsy.

Don't see the difference myself.

Well it's not like Snyder invented the Warrior Princess aspect of WW. Take it up with George Perez I say. So, saying he hates Gadot's version in particular is disingenuous to my mind.

How could anyone say with certainly what kind of Wonder Woman Gadot will be in BvS? She'll at most be a minor character and will not be fully explored until her solo film debut. Morrison is being biased against the current film WW.

To be fair, we've only seen two brief "money shots" of WW in action. They don't necessarily give us any indication as to what kind of a character she is, so I would hope that Morrison isn't quick to write it off completely just yet.

Gadot described her as having emotional intelligence and strength. I'd wager there's more to the character than snarling and swinging a sword.

Welcome to the hype, Allnite78. Enjoy the ride.

Gotta love people who seem to know everything about what happens in the movie. Would love to know where they got the script.

I couldn't care less what Morrison thinks or any other CB writer for that matter, just like I didn't give a hoot about Waids comments on MOS. Only opinion that matters to me is my own. :cwink: Besides, as much as I love some of the stuff these guys did (Morrison's All Star Superman and Waid's Birthright for example) they've written some utter crap themselves too so they aren't the best to speak on this subject matter either. :sly:

One of the rare times I have to agree with you, Godfrey. :o

Welcome to the madness... and interesting theory with the basketball.

Gal Gadot (during comic con panel) : "Wonder Woman has all the strength of a superhero, but she's very sophisticated, loving, and has a lot of emotional intelligence"

As long as this is how she comes across in the movie, I'm not worried.

If Gal had stated somthing like - "WW is always ready for a fight, she is a warrior princess after all", I might have been worried.

Yeah I saw it in the fan art thread months ago.

Well he's an idiot. He's complaining about Wonder Woman being a warrior, which she's been for a long time. Somehow, according to Morrison it seems, if you're a woman you should be a peace-loving person who shouldn't be seen engaging in combat. I guess only men do that in his view. Also, I guess he's not familiar with the Amazonians of Greek myth.
