And Lex would definitely keep that information to himself for reasons.

Exactly. But sadly there will those who will act like it's all the same and that DC is copying. They will trim everything down to 1 element and say it's the same. But it really won't be.

That's just the nature of the beast. Regardless of what someone does, criticism is always sure to follow. Nitpicking is invariable; if it's not one thing, it's another. Most people, I think, won't react negatively to a plot where A.I. is front and center, though. If presented in a practical and unique fashion, the only folks I can picture whining about the topic in question are folks on message boards like this and the usual hipster critics.

^ I'm still kind of curious about those flash drives from NYCC.

I am totally down for the OMACs

I can see them recycling some of the concepts from the Justice League Mortal film

So... no way that beam in your avatar is coming from Superman :o

I'd actually be okay with it coming from Supes, but I really don't want to see Doomsday in this film. I'd prefer that he be featured in a stand-alone Superman sequel, preferably the last.

You know seeing that poster for SW7 makes me anxious to see the official poster for BvS! :awesome:

It does look similar in color to the heat vision of Superman, but coming in the form of a single beam. That suggests to me it is likely not Superman firing that blast, or a ray gun type weapon by Lexcorp (to match Superman's heat vision? that would be odd) which leaves room for a physical villain also capable of shooting heat vision. It does lead credence to the OMAC theory I have to say :o

Most of Superman and Zod's beams in MOS combine to make one beam.

Isn't the comic con poster the official poster?

Nah that's just the comic con exclusive poster, in fact MoS had a ton of posters revealed through a series of smart innovative viral marketing techniques that i hope they adapt to BvS. :D

I hope batman will do the batusi in this movie. Or else it will prove warner has no plans.

That doesn't look big enough to be the size of that other beam, plus I find it hard to believe Superman would use that on a human Batman not even in his powersuit. :o I'm thinking that was editing to make some people gullible enough to believe it is Superman. That's what I'm thinking anyway

It was likely edited to look like it was Superman, as to not give away the villain at the end. However, the photo of Superman's beams do show that the shot in the trailer could have come from Superman.
