BvS All Things Batman v Superman: An Open Discussion - - Part 211

Someone on Twitter was trying to tie in a possible connection with the Arkam BvS DLC and Roven's talk of new footage very soon. Could we maybe see something before the month is up? Not sure what the connection would be there. Maybe they want us to hear how the Batmobile really sounds in footage first before the DLC hits????

You got a link to the person on Twitter who said this?

“Let’s start with what we’re doing with Man of Steel, because Chris’ Dark Knight trilogy was actually different in the sense that the Dark Knight trilogy had no superheroes in it, none whatsoever. It had a man who made himself both mentally and physically into the best a man could be, and the villains in that were also humans who whether they were aberrated or not were also heightened in terms of their ability to accomplish their goals through their own methods. Very real, very grounded, but of this Earth.

On Man of Steel we also tried to make things feel as real as possible, but we took you to Krypton. We started on Krypton, we gave you Krypton technology and Krypton science and we tried to do it in a way that if there was this planet, what was their culture, what was their language, what were they thinking about, what was their science, what was their technology. And we did try to make that real but we were also taking you into an alien world, and I think we’ve tried to follow that, so make it feel grounded but also otherworldly. So whatever we do with any of these characters we’re gonna want them to be grounded, we’re gonna want the science to feel real whether it’s of this world or not of this world.”

“We tried [to make it all feel real] when we brought it here, when Zod came here, we wanted to make sure that we followed that. We actually talked about what would that technology translate to here. And I think you’ll see in Batman v Superman we stayed true to that, we were attempting to stay true to that, how are things affecting Superman here, Batman is still human, he’s not Meta, he’s just a human, Wonder Woman is Meta, if you will, although some might think that she’s a God.”

Yeah, i may have to sit this trailer out. Like Sam said, I would have preferred going into SW without seeing some of the shots recently released; I dont want to make that mistake with this one.

But I want to do it so bad! :woot:

http://imgur.com/lOC4LBvI'm sorry... why isn't anyone mentioning THE JOKER-IZED HOT WHEELS CAR?! Obviously between that and the note to Bruce, Joker IS in this movie (or at least his presence is felt). It's been my contention for a long time that the massive delay was to reworking BvS to fit with SS and possibly include the Joker into the story. Why is this not being discussed? Pretty huge revelation

The Joker car package also seems to be a Wanted poster for Batman (as seen on the bottom) which the joker seems to have altered.

As I've been suspecting. No crazy ass advanced technology on Earth (yet), just look at the batmobile and batcave, it feels real. I really like this approach they're taking. Perhaps it lacks that comic booky batcave with neon and giant computers (which I do like) and similar things, but it certainly makes the world feel more like ours because of that.

Now, I don't want to start anything (again), but this quote "We actually talked about what would that technology translate to here. And I think you’ll see in Batman v Superman we stayed true to that" = OMAC? :oldrazz:

>He doesn't praise Gal.

Welp, that confirms she's the weak link. :o

That wouldn't require a massive delay...it would require reshoots if this was the case or merely adjusting the shooting schedule

First of all I have been a poster on SHH for longer than 90% of you. I got locked out of my last account. Secondly, they delayed the movie, adjusted the script seemed to do a lot of tweaking overall. My theory is that this was in part to include elements of Suicide Squad and start to expand the shared universe over all.

Third- Roach....I've been quietly watching you bs people into believing you are some sort of Hollywood screenwriter for a long time and not only do I not buy it, no one in the industry would either. Trying to write scripts does not make you a pro. Either share some of you produced scripts or stop with the sad internet boasting. Your insistence that scripts must follow these ridiculously elementary outlines is just one of the amateurish assertions you make, that are 100% transparent as bs. Sorry man, but it's pathetic.
