The film is laced with dream sequences for both Batman and Superman that hint at dangers to come.

That's an interesting word. Does it mean we'll get the [BLACKOUT]nightmare sequences in chunks?[/BLACKOUT]

Sounds like it.

That guy actually mentioned something that wasn't revealed until today in the latest EW piece.

He said that Batman uses a kryptonite spear and has Superman at his mercy.

and that is when he uses that line from DKReturns about "remembering the man who beat you"

So Umberto was right about a certain weapon against Superman ... was right about Doomsday.

Hope he was right about Doomsday getting spikes like the comics at some point in the fight. :)
people really can't deny that he gets things right a lot of the time. not always, but to ignore him completely like some do is just ignorant ! He's annoying sometimes the way he releases his scoops, but he's right a lot of the time

I dunno about that. I think GL could easily provide a trilogy of films, but I don't really need to see a separate Red Lantern Corps movie or a Sinestro movie, a GL trilogy would be ****ing awesome though. It could easily be the next Star Wars. Geoff Johns really took that character and world in such a great direction

I was thinking the GLC fights Sinestro Corps and RLC while you get some Yoda type role for the BLC sprinkled in with the Guardians and GLC stuff. And at the end all the Corps and Larfleeze team up against Anti-Monitor or something.

Batman using a
kryptonite spear
is
so damn brutal! He's straight up trying to kill? That's harsh. How's the bromance gonna thrive after that? It's making me wonder what is gonna bridge the gap between these two-- it's gotta be a death. Ma Kent or Lois. And I doubt it's Lois

Oh, no.The spoilers are starting to come out. Time to abort SHH and social media

See you on March 23.

Nah, what was outlined in the article was dead-on; they have to do it right. The character has so much potential in and of itself, it deserves time and care.

All it means is we'll have something grand to look forward to in the next phase of the DCEU. That actually has me excited, because they haven't pulled out all their cards on the first run. They'll have plenty of ammo in the coming years.

It seems pretty obvious to me.

]Batman is spiraling out of control because of Robin's death, Alfred tells him he's becoming the kind of monster he's sworn to fight, Batman has Superman at his mercy, ready to spear him, Superman does something noble that proves to Batman he's not a monster, like accepting death or something, and Batman realizes he's losing it and stops.

Basic storytelling, but not bad.

To be fair....Batman with a spear isn't something that was pulled out of the air

Yeah, remember the scene from the last trailer
where Ma Kent looks up in dismay at the sight of something ominous? Perhaps that's where she meets at untimely demise at the hands of Lex Luthor, who, according to Breznican, "orchestrates a mass murder."

I'm sorry, when was it confirmed that Ma Kent bites it?

Not sure this "murder event" includes Ma. Seems too open an environment. Seems more likely to me Alfred encounters "difficulties" controlling the Batjet or Supes having problems in D.C.

I really want Batman to beat Superman's ass in the fight. He needs to be humbled and put in his place.

Because? Why assume that "Superman needs humbling" but any issues Supes may or may not have with Batman as being unfounded?

Why? No offense but... This film isn't setting up Teen Titans, it's setting up JUSTICE LEAGUE.

That doesnt mean it cant be a story somewhere down the line. You seem rather salty lately buddy everything ok?

The only one who needs to be humbled is Batman. The guy is suppose to be so smart and a great detective, yet can't figure out that Superman is one of the good guys. He has to be told that by his butler lol

I think it's odd wanting or expecting Trigon refferences in this or any film leading up to a Justice League and not Titans film. X can get a pass though since all X wants above all things is a live action Raven. ;)

My sodium level is right where it needs to be. :)

Hope you're right, as I'd hate to see her go.

Nah, Superman needs to be humbled. He messed up Batman's ride. You just don't do that. :nuhu:
